  1. Thanks, loswabs. Are the New Look jeans men's or women's - I know some NL shops do sell men's clobber? If women's, what size do I try? I've never heard of Uniqlo - is it a brand, a shop chain or what? (Oh, I do miss C&A!)

    Hello puffer,

you could say the half of your normal size jeans rounded down minimum with two, that works for me....

E.G. I am a size 40 in male jeans, so I take half of that minus two gives me a size 18 and they fir perfect....

other example, a size 38 male, devided by two is 19 minus 2 is 17, I would say that a size 16female would work perfect....

Just try, and if they don't fit, you always can return them.... That's the nice thing of New look and Next...

    Anyway, good luck

  2. Just posting a quick message. I love wearing high heels but I have a question "has there been anyone who is or was in college that wore high heels?"

First of all High4, welcome to the forum.

And yes, for sure you will find somebody who is in the same position as you around here.... I wish you good luck with your search

  3. They're small (belt-style) buckles as opposed to bows, I have attached a picture from a photoshoot I did in these same shoes. You can tell it was a photoshoot because I actually went through the effort of tying them up!!

They were very old when I wore them to Orlando and had seen better days, and were a hand-me-down that I was given, in fact that was probably the last time I wore them.

    Just a question roz,

Do you think these shoes are still available in the shops.... If yes could you help me out, they look really cool and comfortable.

    Hope they are

  4. ok...i like wedges alot...i was wondering if wedges..being the high height they are make the calves or leg seem "stickly or thin"...please say no:unsure:

because well....i have curvy legs...but it just makes me wonder if like wedges make you seem toothpicky like...because last summer i ordered 6" wedges and that thought always pondered my mind.

there are many photos on flickr(nice ones) but im too tired of copying and pasting photos for examples.

    Hiya Lialalily,

I love these kind of wedges and have two pairs of them. One pair is similar to the ones you posted in the first and thirsd tread, with cork soles. And then a second pair from pleaser in black.

I think they both look fantastic on and I wouldn't dear saying they change the leg into sticky..... as you say. Au contraire, they give the leg a smooth tall image.... have a look in the mirror and see for yourself

Hope this give you a little boost....

  5. OK, Walk around the hill if possible.

Now are talking stilettos, block, stacked and just how tall of a heel are we talking? I think stacked or block 3-4" wouldn't be to much of a problem.

    Hello johnieheel,

As you said the block heelis not a problem and a small heel neither, I talk of a heel somewhat 3" and higher... that's the problem.

Walking round the hill is not possible, my house is build on it and the frnt door has a small three steps and I'mstraight on the hill. Not very easy, walking round it.

I think I'm better of to take it easy and try over and over again, start low and gradually come higher.... It's a bit the same as learning to walk up and down the stairs I reconn....

  6. Knee pads and gloves. Hands and knees. Thats my answer and I'm sticking to it!

  7. I had a look around on the forum to find an answer on how to walk downhill. I remember there was a thread about walking the stairs, but couldn't find anything about walking downhill. So I hope to get some good tips on how to walk easely downhill in HH. I moved to a house who is situated on a small but steep hill and to get to the sidewalk I have to walk downhill for about ten meters, but quite steep. The walking on flat surfaces and going up and down stairs is as natural now to me as walking in my trainers, but I have it very difficult to climb down the hill. Hope to get some good advice and tricks FL

  8. OK...I am gonna get a million ...."did you check out." but I was just wondering if anyone IMVU and I know there is probably 110000X better....

I use to be on it but didn't think much of it....
