  1. The sound brings to mind the old hoodlum's trick of adding metal taps to their cuban heels in order to make a sound. Don't forget than men wearing heels used to considered somewhat daring, not something written about in the psych's handbook as it is today!

  2. I saw the shoes in bins marked "Men's." I agree about it being merely lousy shopkeeping, shoes carelessly dumped in the incorrect bin. It is not "irony" by a long shot. Now, if in fact it was merely poor shopkeeping as I believe it was, what would be irony would be if men bought every shoe in those bins, wore them in public, then went back to the shop wearing those very shoes asking for more. When the shopgirls tell the men they don't have them plus they are "women's shoes," the men say, "We bought them here and they were in the Men's bins!" That is irony. Yes, "irony" is cheap metal.

  3. Well thanks for the extensive replies!

I can tell you have given these concepts quite a bit of thought.

Another thing I now realize is that high heels 'passions' stretch from extreme deviant sexual behaviour to a passive (in some cases latent) interest.

I guess the most important thing is to be OK with it.

'Dandydude' made a very interesting remark. I like ballerina's (a knew fashion fad in these last years) too. Especially the elegant desing or the ones with floral prints.

I guess I 'appreciate' the fragile aspect of 'female' footwear, from flats to high heels. Strange though that I don't like most shoe designs with heel heights between flats and 3 inches.

I actually was referring to the similarity of women's buttocks/hip position during both wearing of heels and the position of same when a ballerina is en pointe. Perhaps language nuances mattered in this case. I do find ballerinas extremely erotic, especially en pointe.

Those in the USA would be familiar with a basically crummy televisioin show called "Deal Or No Deal." In that show, twenty six leggy women stand in slip dresses and stilettos. You can almost see a straight line from their thighs to their toes, that is what I'm talking about. The show itself is idiotic, but the legs are worth watching. My fave, Anya Monzikova, used to model for Ellie Shoes, so beautiful and what fantastic legs.

As for ballet pumps, they have a certain charm in themselves. Funny thing, they are actually based on men's shoes. I'd like a pair to wear with straight leg denims. If I could find my size, that is.

  4. Dr. Shoe: "Rednecked Moron," huh? Sorry Charlie, wrong number. The "child abusers" I mentioned were not trannies specifically. There ARE trannies who advocate child abuse, one very well known person who advocates genital mutilation for confused children has pages and pages of fellow mutilates on a website. That person is a child abuser. That was what I was talking about in the debate with "The Original Susan" awhile back. I don't want to be associated with child abusers. There is more than one kind of child abuse, and telling children they are not what sex they are is the most vile. I wasn't even talking about paedophilia, find something that says I was before you attack me next time, please! I wasn't even talking specifically about trannies abusing children. I was talking about the people who are setting up schools to encourage transsexuality. I wes talking about those who encourage children to believe they can change their sex in any way what so ever! A better generalisation would be those who follow the Popperian culture, those who are idealistic and believe the mind is more important than the body, as a separate entity of course. On USAmerican television recently, Barbara Walters had a special about tranny children. Who decided to allow children to believe they are something other than what they are? Children think that the diffeence between male and female is that females wear dresses and have long hair and males don't. That is the extent of their thoughts on the matter! Who the are adults to come along and, instead of telling them the truth, accomodate their ignorance and even encourage it? Those are not trannies, but social worker types. They harm those children by indulging them in their ignorance. Again: I wasn't talking about paedophilia. There is more than one type of child abuse. I never ipso facto connected trannies with child abuse of any kind. I DO say that spewing the drivel about "being trapped in the wrong body" is abuse. If adults wish to believe they can change their sex, or that they are "trapped in the wrong body," that is their problem. Transmitting it to children who don't KNOW reality is another. I also don't wish to be lumped in with the gender crowd, as I am NOT "TG" or whatever the psychs and their snivelling allies say this week. If you hadn't attacked me, on a strawman I might add, I wouldn't have continued on this thread. It ought to be in the tranny forum because of the direction it's taken, not here in the "guys" forum. I also don't think a mod on this board should be engaging in ad hominem attacks such as you did by calling me a "redneck moron," based on a strawman yet. What's funny/somewhat ironic is that I agree with your last sentence. That was my basic point.

  5. Considering the direction this thread has taken, I say it belongs in the gender forum. All the gushing about how some here wish to be identified as trannies does not help the drive to make men's heel wearing into a style, not a symptom of something the DSM would have as a topic. I don't approve of "hate crime" laws, especially protecting those who abuse children by allowing them to believe they are not their bodily sex, but something concocted out of their own innocence in the actual meaning of male and female. I repudiate those who want children reading these boards to think they are not what they are, but something concocted out of the alleged minds of adult crazies. Again...to the gender board with this topic ASAP!!!! "Gender expression." Yeah, right...

  6. Exactly why we need to completely repudiate candidates for the DSM if we ever wish heel wearing to be just that and not an expression of some sort of latent craziness. Forgive the long sentence. On a more grave note: Considering the recent shootings and the talk about more thorough labels on people, perhaps we have to worry more now about being called crazy becase of the damned DSM. If that sounds too worried, just remember that it used to be said that ALL reefer smokers would end up on junk.

  7. It's all Christina. They used triple tracking for her vocals. That's where she sings each part one step down so it blends into coherent harmonies when they mix it. She can actually sing, unlike some others whose voices are altered beyond recognition to make them listenable. I thought the cadence sample fit the task, shows the actuall uselessness of rap in general as well as in comparison.

  8. I tried again to view that pdf file. Now I'm being told that there is no such site. let alone file! If anyone would please send me that file, please do so. No download links, just the file itself directly. Thank you very much in advance! Please send me a PM here telling me that you are sending the file and under what email. Thanks again.

  9. Usual "heels belong to women alone" sort of crap, along with a few obvious heel partisans most likely from these very boards! I tried to view the pdf, but my Adobe Reader said that the file was damaged beyond repair and could not be opened. Any alternatives?

  10. Speaking of Ellie shoes, tbe gorgeous Anya Monzikova, Deal or No Deal model, used to model for them. I haven't found any pix of her from that era, but she does have great legs and always looks fantastic in heels, so I'm sure any pix would be...hot. SQ...they do look pretty good! The shoes, of course, but Anya always looks hot!!

  11. Okay tell me your best success stories in finding heels for the big footed. I have two pair of stiletto ankle boots I got from a company out of California called "DeMars." They were not that expensive, but they are actually well made. 5.5 inch heels, pointy toed, laceup with partial quick lace. Pair each of black and of white.

  12. You are petite. I'm over six feet tall, and I take a W15(M13)USA shoe/boot. Weirdly enough, someone like you would be more able to get away with heels without hassle than someone such as I. Of course, someone like me on heels scares the living bejabbers out of a lot of people!

  13. Okay, I have long feet which are a bit narrow and my feet are otherwise constructed somewhat like a woman's with a narrow heel and wide toe area along with high instep. My mother wore AAAA widths, and I'd say I inherited her feet in a sense. I see people discussing wearing ballet pumps, and they are cut very narrowly. Plus, women's boots and shoes in general ESPECIALLY heels tend to be narrow. How do you deal with the width issue? I've done the wear wider widths to make up for slightly shorter lengths, but I'm not seeing the obverse? working as well.
