  1. 4.5 is a great height :) not too high to wear for ages but not too low to be boring :P the higher you go though the less choice of shoes you tend to find in the normal shops ranges, and edges more towards the fetish or more expensive custom retailers

  2. true words said about businesses and theyr packaging etc, but generally i tend to but used shoes off private sellers offloading a little of their collection. Im not asking for any special service other than some details of the item they are wanting to sell.

  3. God why do people have to take things personally? I was talking about a few ebay sellers i had dealt with, if you are a good seller then why feel the need to have a go in your own defense. lol of course i am not slating ALL ebay sellers or tarring EVERYONE with the same brush, I was commenting on todays individual and a couple i have had previously. I sell allsorts on there myself and as people have said i describe things best i can and reply to all questions as soon as possible. That is exactly why I was irritated when someone cant be bothered to answer a question properly. And johnnyheel, i never said i could tell the EXACT height of a heel by looking. I can guess that it was at least or around the 4inch mark... as in clearly not the 3in heel stated. I like heels that are 4.5inches high, but most higher not plat heels are 4inch on regular shop shoes and depending on the picture or the style of the shoe it can be tricky to work out if it is a 4 or 4.5in heel without a description, hence why i asked my question to the seller.

  4. Like most people i find ebay a great resource to find a good pair of nice heels. Presumable when people are getting charged for listing and final sales and they have took the trouble to write a listing they are actually keen to sell the item. I have noticed when i am searching that sometimes they dont put how high the heel is for example and from the picture you can get sort of an idea but is sometimes difficult to tell. So i send off a quick polite question asking if they would be so kind to say how high the heels are, 3 days later i get a half assed answer saying ' i think they are about 3 inch roughly' i mean ffs how does that help? i can see from the picture that they are at least 4in and i can make a 'rough guess' from the picture. Why cant they just get a tape measure out and provide some accurate information for someone who is interested in their item. Short of emailing to say please can you not guess and get out a tape measure i am no wiser and annoyed to say the least my rant over for the day lol

  5. computer history.. auto login... could have been that smple to not say anything lol if your gf is cool with it thats great! my current gf is cool with it, not overly bothered about it but is fine with it, i dont push it in her face i just wear heels every now n then and dont make a fiss about it and she doesnt mind a bit. Ive had the other side of the coin where my gf has been practically driven away by it and happy to spead ridicule afterwards

  6. From what ive seen, women have this conception that when a man is about to put heels on, its an occasion to gather round andwait in anticipation because this sight is going to be hilarious... - as if we somehow lack the ability to wear them because we are men lol. I have no desire to compete as such but i would be interested enough to prove a point for my own satisfaction lol.

  7. i had some 4.3in block calf boots, they were ok the material felt better than it looked but there wasnt much padding so comfort could be an issue, but sizing was generous hope that helps a bit.

  8. no i am not angry with the seller. He did everything he could to assist with ensuring i got a pair that was likely to fit, even down to supplying a half size which the website doesnt mention, unfortunately it is diddifult especially via email to decide if width is going to create a problem with the correct size. In theory the 42.5 is probably the right length, just designed for someone with half an inch narrower foot. Fascinated by the beauty of the design and material I considered chopping my small toes off but then decided maybe that wasnt such a smart idea after all. they did take a little while to arrive, but i appreciated that i placed an order during the christmas period. Im just sad that the are designed to fit a narrow foot and wont agree with my size of foot no matter which size i attempt to get on. Perhaps the shop ought to liase with the manufaturer for a wide fitting option and this style would definately reattract my interest NL

  9. shame shame.

Can i just make a point to this thread as i have longed to buy these shoes for ages

    http://www.elite-heels.com/shop/product_info.php?info=p55_Black-Leather-Fetish-Pumps-PU-lm-bl.html

After noticing the long thread here and the comments on size variations i spoke to the chap on the other end of the emails and agreed to pay and order 3 pairs that they had in stock around the size i was guessing to be. a 42 42.5 and 43 with an agreement to keep the pair that fit and return the 2 that didnt.

Firstly they took a while to arrive, but i had almost expected that from the thread here. I chased them a couple of times and they came today.

To my dismay i cant get any pair to fit properly :'( the 42 are the correct length but are a toe torture device and way to narrow for my man feet.

the 42.5 could almost get away with but is slightly too tight in the toe still but too long for my foot (leaves a cm gap at the back of the foot)

and the 43, perfect in the toe box, but too long and flop off my feet with a bigger gap behind the foot.

Dismayed is an understatement that I will not get to keep any at all. They are beautiful shoes of an expensive finish and high quality material, wonderful heel height - certainly a challenge for anyone, sadly a little too narrow for man feet

    Review end..

  10. has anyone ever ordered from eliteheels I love some of the styles and am thinking of purchasing a pair of their plain black 6in courts, however am looking for a bit of sizing advice. Generally i wear a uk8.5 and have a fairly wide foot. Some 8's come up small and some fit fine, most womens 9's i have tried have been too big. They say an 8 is a 41 and 9 a 42 and larger etc, am hoping someone can give me an idea on which size to order. I emailed eliteheels for a bit of sizing advice but had no reply. thanks

  11. perhaps you should come to a heelmeet bubba136. We hear a lot from you but I dont think anyones ever actually seen you lol. Anyway Chris, caught this thread a bit later than some but thats just great news! Everything we spoke about before and all your moving about was all the right decisions in the end. Hope it all goes well for you am right happy to hear mate. Daz
