Just got home from visiting my local Payless store. On my last purchase I filled out a satisfaction survey and a link to get text coupon discounts.

Had one for $10.00 off my next purchase so I stopped in to see what was in stock in my size 12.

Found a really nice pair of Marcie boots in brown that looked great. Tried them on right on the spot and they fit great. Were normally $59.95

but marked down on sale to $29.99. I used my text coupon and walked out with these beauties for less than $20.00!!! They feel great!

Very nice pair! Good choice, I like them a lot!! Enjoy them!
  2. Hello, It's been a long time I did not write anything, but that does not mean I didn't do anything about heels! Actually, I moved a lot forward. I followed some advices I read around here, and bought block heels boots or ankle boots, instead of stiletto heels style. Nevertheless, I still really love stiletto heels, but as I wanted to wear heels a bit more then just on my scooter... and I did not had the courage to do so with stiletto heels, so I went for "reasonnable" block heels. I got a pair of ankle boots, with a 3 in block heel. Wearing them with normal trousers, showing the heel, I went out in "public" in mall or shopping center. I could experience what I read everywhere in the Forum, almost (99.9% of the people) everybody do not pay attention to the shoes you wear! Experiencing that, made me think about this question: Are we (heels lovers) the only who look first at the shoes before at the people when walking in the street? If the answer is yes, it means there are not so many heels lovers... if the answer is no, everybody do not pay attention to shoes and to other people! Getting more and more comfortable with that, I got a pair of 4 in block heels, but worn with a boot cut jean, doing the same kind of experience, it really felt great. Reading the experience of other people in the Forum, and my own experience, helped me a lot to do what I did! And more and more, I feel the need to wear heeled shoes as someting "normal"! Most recently, I wore 4 inch block heeled 9 West Boots with trouser in them... Not in the shopping center, but when I went to refull my scooter, I went to pay in the shop. Of course, the challenge was not so big, but a few weeks before, I would never have had the courage to do it! Building up experience, seeing the lack of reaction of other, and loving the feeling of wearing heels, in public area and walking in them is really a great experience. I also like to look at people to see if the notice something, and in case, looking at their reaction. So far, I think I have only been noticed once, by a group of women. I looked at them, and one of them looked surprised as she saw my heels under the jean, and she told her friends, probably, "This guy is wearing high heels!" Well to summerize, HHPlace helped me to live my passion, only on my own for the moment, but also it made me feel not alone at all, encouraged me to do what I am doing. To all of you, a big thank you for your messages, stories and contribution. Let's make men in heels something true and popular! Matt.

  3. I bought a few days ago a pair of ankle boot from Enzo Angiolini. It is a size 11M, they are made of real leather and are looking great! Following the advice that to start to wear heels out, I had to choose first some discreet heels, I took this pair. I walked a few days ago with them in a mall with a boot cut jean hiding them a lot, felt really good like that, now i put them with a normal trouser. It looks great and I feel good with them, went to the supermarket last day with them on, it felt really great!

  4. As almost usual now, I was going to work with heels on my scooter, but I was also wearing a women's boot cut jeans with my new MJ. Arriving close to my work, I stopped in a quiet place, a bicycle way on the side of the road, to change my trouser and put my "regular" shoes on. I was still sitting on my scooter when a police car came in front of me, and the asked me what I was doing here... As I was still wearing my MJ's, with the police in front of me, I had nothing else to do then stand in front of the police men... They asked for my ID and one of them came at my side. He wrote down my name, etc, he asked me if I was known by the Police... I said I didn't think so... and he asked me to open the seat of my scoot, which I did... He could see my regular shoes in, and my work trouser... When he was leaving, he asked me one more time the purpose of my presence on the bicycle way, I replied again I had something to do with my mobile phone and I did not want to be on the road... Then the police men told me: Taking pictures of your shoes? Which I replied to: You are absolutely right! Then I said to myself: Well this is done! One step forward! I did not felt to ashamed, in fact, but the surprise was big for me... I kept on laughing for a while, imagining what they were thinking... But I think they see frequetely things much worse then a regular guy wearing women's shoes! Bye!! Matt

  5. Thanks for your comments,

It is exactly what it is about: experiencing and building up experience.

    TBG:

    • Soon be disappointed that no one notices
    • Start wearing trousers that let more of the heels show
    • Start wearing boots over your trousers
I would agree with what you said, but it is also linked with the kind of heels you have. I like spike heels platform, which are really not "masculine" and i might take time for me to start to show them off...

    W6ish: Thank you!

    SH:

Reading your adventures shows you are much further then I am, still a lot to do for me!!

By the way, the heels are not boots but platform MJ's!!

    Matt

  6. I do not want to start another thread about wearing heels in public, but I would like to share my feelings. I have been buying heels since year now and also for year, I was only wearing them at home when alone, which means not that often. About a year and half ago, I started to wear them on my scooter going to work and back home, which was for me a big step forward. Continuing this "process", I also wear them sometimes when I go to buy fuel (at night!!!) or when I go get some money at the ATM. Wearing them almost everyday going work, it becomes something more "normal" to me, I feel less and less anxious about being seen or recognized. This morning I felt, for the first time, the feeling to be ready to wear them, during day, in public, of course with a little hide from trouser, but, I felt I could do it and "feeling good in my shoes". This feeling is really good and helps me to build up my self confidence. Bye bye. Matt

  7. Hi there, In this time I buy frequentely shoes... It seems to become a kind of addiction... Somehow I do like women with shoes... buy! buy! buy! So my last buy is a pair of black platform pumps, from Frederick's of Hollywood. The upper is in leather, there is a 1 in hidden platform and a pointy toe looking very stylish. They look like very expensive shoes like Giancarlo Lorenzi... but only costed 25 $...!!! The inner sole is red (nice), comfortably padded with a small leopard print on the edges (see picture) I bought them in US11, they fit very well and are easy to walk in. A very good buy! Here are some pics:

  8. Thank you Steve for your comment, even if it was not aimed only at me, it fits well with my post! So I bought them on Ebay.com, at the Shoes19 shop. Very quick shipment, I bought them 21st june and got them today! They are in size US11, they are reasonably well finished, for 20 US$, you can not ask too much, the quality is good. Very comfortable, they are my first pair of MJ, I like it actually. The inner sole is soft and thick enough and they are easy to walk in! The brand will come later, I forgot the name. Bye!

  9. I like the black brash platform pumps from Payless.

This is a style of shoes I would like to have but unfortunately,

all of them I tried until now are too narrow in the toe box

    Lucky you !

Hi I've got a pair of them in black, US12, they run a bit too big for me. Are you interested?

    Regards.

  10. I slipped a pair of her boots on for a laugh, when she was trying some shoes on with her outfit. That's when I discovered that I like them. I simply told her they're comfortable, nice to walk in, and I'll need to be getting some more my size.

That was last week, this week we were in New Look and I pointed out some boots I liked, and she bought them. Yay.

So easy!!! I am happy for you, I am thinking about trying something like that with my wife...

    Bye!

  11. Hello all fellow heelers!

Just thought I would share my excitement in one of the few places that I can.

I've never been able to pluck up the courage to wear my heels out in public (only ever dared wearing a pair into work early one morning, knowing I would be the only one in, and then later changing them before any one else got here), but it would appear that I finally have a chance to gain some confidence.

Next weekend I have been invited to a dress up party where the theme is WTF, and sure enough, I will be going in complete drag (although not quite what I would choose, as I am not one for crossdressing).

So my girlfriend, being a hair and makeup artist, will be having lots of fun playing with me. But most importantly, I'll be wearing my boots in the presence of a large group of friends:silly::unsure::silly:

    Pics might soon follow:winkiss:

    Looking forward!!!

  12. I own 3 pairs of LL. One peep toe platform pump, UK9 which due to the opening on the front are fitting a little too big as the foot goes out. One platform stilleto pump, UK9, they fit like a dream. And recently I bought a pair of ankle boots, I thought I was buying UK9 but the arrived in UK8... but fitted well. You can see them in this Who bought new boots link. For me, the sizing is ok, even bigger then what should be as for UK8, EU42, does not fit me usually.

  13. I can't see them... If they're the ones in your avatar then they look similar to my current favourite pair (also seen in my avatar) from New Look. I loved their boots over the winter.

Hi, you bought your boots on NewLook, do you go for the wide fit collection or the normal one?

    Thank you!

  14. i like them very much!

    very comfortable to wear,

a soft and warm (synthetic) padding.

can wear and walk for long time,

the first HH i can ever "really" wear and enjoy while walking

Same for me, very nice look, cheap, and comfortable. A very good pair to walk with, I agree with you! I put an additional warm sole inside, even better to walk with!

  15. Just a shoe update! I went down to ZU shoes today and bought myself these pretty's! :) I was served by a guy who said that i was the first Male to come into store since it opened last August and try on a pair of heels. He asked me if i perform or wether i just dress this way and i told him no this is just how i dress :wavey: he said i have amazingly slim legs, better than most girls and that he'd tried on those same shoes in the back but they didn't fit him, he took the first picture for me...

    Enjoyyy, Heelguy

    Hello Heelguy,

Did the guy tried the shoes after you did or he told you he tried some shoes on his own at the back of the shop sometimes?

He might be also encouraged to buy some for him after your visit!

Good story, and the shoes are great! Good choice!

    Bye.
