  1. Hello Sydheel

They are synthetic, but it really looks like leather, the best sythetic I have seen so far.

The heel 15 cm measured in the middle, 16cm at the back (sorry metric system!)

The Platform is hidden but it's around 4 to 5 cm.

    I paid them 60US$

They were made in 10 days and delivered in a week.

Normally I buy US11, but on their page, they display the ideal measurment in regard of the US sizing numbers, so my foot length told me to order a US12 which I did.

After the order I got an E-Mail from the maker who asked me to do additional foot measurment to confirm the sizing chosen.

After that they confirmed US12 was the right size and started to make the boots.

Then I got a message when they were made and shipped!
What a great Customer care and professioanl approach!

In the end the boots are great as I said! Do not hesitate to buy from them!
    I hope this helped!

  2. Hi,

I just got zhis great pair of Platform booties. I found them on EBay and they are of the Only Maker brand. Ordered on EBay, I was asked to provide my foot measurement to ensure the correct fitting.

They are handmade in China, on request and to be honnest they are of a great quality! The finish is nice, the Inside is really confortable with a soft cushioned inline.

I really recommand this make, its EBay name is Mermer.

Thank you for your comment. They're EUR42, and TTS. These are my second pair, as I tried on and bought a pair of coral watersnake So Kate's a couple of years ago in Las Vegas; those were also EUR42 and felt a half-size small from my perspective (I can range from a US10 - US12, depending on the shoe style and designer). I hope that information is helpful.

Thank you for the reply. I am surprised CL make UER42 boots... It still might be a git too small for me, especially if they rune half size small.

Have a lot of fun with this beautiful piece of artwork!

Getting ready for the fall, and I couldn't resist sharing such a work of art as these :)

Wow! Of course they are great! I am wondering as CL only make high heeled shoes and boots for the intention of women, I expect the sizes to stop the latest at EUR41, US9.

How is the fitting in regard of the size? Normal or tight? Did you try some on before purchasing, and final question, what is your normal size and which CL size did you purchase?

Thank you and congratualtion! Enjoy them!

  5. Hi everyone,

I am fancying a pair of Michael Kors boots and based on the price, I'd like to make almost sure they will fit me.

Does anyone have experience with this manufacturer and would like to shre his experience on how this brand fits to the size?

Do they fit tight? Normal? Large?

    Thank you for your help!

  6. Hi Everybody,

I bought this pair from Truth or Dare by Madonna.

To be honnest, I am not a fan of this kind of heels, but they were below 30$, so I went for them.

Honestly, they fit very well, very true to size (US11) and are comfortable and unvisible...

    Happy to have them!

    Bye.

  7. This week we took an unexpected trip to New England for a funeral on Thursday. I wore my Naturalizer "Glassy" boots with 3 inch stacked heels. The boots have an area on the heel with metal spikes but the front looks very masculine. The shaft is suede. I went through TSA screening at the airport and I didn't have to take off my shoes because I was TSA PRE (pre-screened), but I set off the alarm and the agent asked me to take off my boots; he could see that they had too much metal, so I did and I went through fine. He didn't care at all about the heels; he was looking for security threats and treated me in a civil and professional way.

Nobody in the family said anything about my heels, except my 27-year old nephew, a musician, who noticed them right away and said, "Nice heels!" I replied, "I always wanted to dress like a rock star!" He laughed and that was that. That happened in front of my brother and sister-in-law. No further fall-out. But then, last time they visited us they saw my shoe collection in the room with our family photos on the wall, so they already knew about my unusual hobby.

    Steve

    Great! Even for a funeral...

    Thank you for sharing.

sounds like they are peed off that a man has a lovely pair of boots that they aren't wearing, women and jealousy stick like glue and paper, its like if I was wearing a pair of Christian louboutin armurabotta boots, out in a city, Im sure there would be lots of amazement and jealousy, from every female that would look at me,

I like this poitn of view!

  8. It happened some days ago, I was wearing my Jessica Simpson booties with a long jean when I walked in a gas station to take a quick coffee when driving back home.

I stood at the bar and orderd my drink. Then one of the bar's lady walked in my direction and I could see she stared at my feet...

Then she immediately went to her colleague and talked to hear very close to he hear...

Then few seconds later, they both walked slowly in a postion so they could check my shoes, doing like if they had something to do there, but they were staring actually, quite descretely, but noticeably.

Then I left... nothing else, but it was the first time for me to be looked at like that...

    Bye!

I own 111 pairs of shoes total, thereof approx. 70~75 pairs of heels. 67 of these are shown in the pic. All those shown in the pic together are worth approx. 35K USD... (as Mrs. Bradshaw said: "“I like my money right where I can see it: Hanging in my closet"... well... probably standing in my closet to be correct) one of my new year's resolutions is NOT to buy further shoes and rather save some money to buy a house... it's all about priorities...

Very nice collection, I do like alos ankle boots, like you it seems... And I envy around 15 pairs you display! Great!

  10. I uploaded a dozen pictures into the user gallery. Took them with my iPhone 4, so it's not a stellar quality, but it should suffice to see how the boots looks like. You can view the pics here. Enjoy!

Thank yo! They are really awesome!  Abit Jealous!

Before I go on Week-end, I just post some pictures of my latest pair... They are from Steve Madden, all made of leather, a very nice caught!

  11. Finally, after placing a preorder at Belstaff that was cancelled, after looking for them in London, after missing the last pair in US size 11 at Saks, six months after first seeing them I placed an order for my all-time favorite boots in size 10 in the sale at Shopbop (Store pics, see here). They were delivered by DHL, and as I wasn't at home at that time, my neighbour accepted the box... and went on vacation. He just came back, rang the doorbell and handed me over my parcel with a "happy new year"

I already own the suede ankle boot version, which runs a bit larger than usual, so my hope was that a size 10 would still fit. What can I say? - It does!!! And it just doesn't fit barely, it fits really well - like I could walk a mile in those boots! Definitely a keeper. I am so happy, you can't imagine...

Amazing pair! I can see why you ran after them for such a long time!

    More pictures?

  12. I just went to a mall for some shopping at lunch time and this is how I was dressed:

My new pair of Jeffrey Campbell like booties from SpeedLimit98 I recently bought on AMAZON.

Boot cut 34'' long women jean and a polo. Not so much "Freestyle" but I wanted to share it as I felt comfortable...

I visited 3 shops but had no odd looks or remarks... Either good or bad...

    Bye.

  13. Good morning everyone,

I am travelling in Germany, so I took the opportunity to wear heels longer then usually. Most of my long time heeling are when I travel by plane, meaning in the airport and planes only. This time, I travelled by train, so I also walked "outside" during daytime when changing train, but for one of the first time, I walked also outside for a long time.

To be honnest, I built up my confidence clearly over the last month and dare now to show off more and more.

Also for the first time, I wore Stilettos style heels during day time, as usually I wear thicker heels during daytime.

I was wearing a men's jean and my pair of new GUESS booties.

I went out for dinner and had to walk for 30 minutes in a not so crowdy city, meaning I passed some people off and as there was not so many people, you can look at people for a long time before you pass by... But I was really relaxed and not caring about it at all, (I said I built up my self confidence)

Three times, I crossed tennagers, 2 groups of 2 girls and a group of boys. What happened with all of them was the same:

They talk a lot when walking, then right after they passed me over, a big silence, then some laughing.

This was the first time I really made reactin on people, I assume because it was not crowdy I believe. But I was fine with it and happy to make a reactin, positive or negative...

After the dinner, I was going back, with even less people in the streets, then crossed a 25 looing like girls and she sais something to me. I did not get it so I said "What?" then she repeated me and it was somethint like:

" How do your shoe fit?" I said, "Very well!"

Then with a smile and a blink, she said "Sexy!"

I said "Thank you!" And that was it... I got my first comment on my shoes, and a positive one, which is cool!

Definitely, I feel better and better in heels and came to the following conclusion: It is not that worth hiding, or trying to hide, the heels as anyway, there will be people noticing them and people not! Of course, the more they are visible, the more there will be people noticing!

I felt really good this day, wearing my boots for more then 8 hours, of course, happy to remove them as my feet hurt a bit.

    Bye!

  14. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging comments!

I like this kind of look really much, but at the moment, I only go out dressed like this at late night when I can.

It is a big step (at least for me) daring going out day time with these boots showed completely off...

I put some other pics, witht the same outfit but with different boots.

    Bye
