Alsheels, I really don't believe you are getting too political. People everywhere are facing identical situations. Cast your vision around the EU and take a close look at all of the governments that are on the verge of total collapse because they're out of money, drained by welfare programs, being held up by unions and citizens that believe the "you owe me" mentality. The choices aren't many. Mainly, in the final analysis, they boil down to just a couple: cut back, live within your means and try to payoff accrued debt or dissolve government and plunge into anarchy with the law of the jungle prevailing. It only stands to reason, due to human nature, that those of us that are living on government handouts and programs will be the first to feel the pinch, gather in the streets and demand "what is rightfully ours" and scream "off with their heads" while destroying the vary source of our survival and toppling the economic system into total chaos. (Makes sense to me -- as long as I have a good supply of ammunition and the means of using it.) Governments all over the globe, regardless of the form, are facing identical problems. And, "their aint much they can do about it because there isn't anyone left to bail them out." So, regardless of the form of government, people living under them must realize that many of the welfare programs they're currently enjoying, are going to disappear. And, when they do, there will be "blood in the streets." But, when you're broke, you're broke. When there isn't anything more to eat, there isn't any more to eat and eventually, after the revolution and governments are overthrown, there still won't be anything to eat. So, pay your money and take your choice. Cut back on things that aren't absolutely necessary and that can reasonably be eliminated, take the money and apply it where it's really necessary, or continue current levels of spending and face total collapse. Which ever way you choose to go, your life is about to change -- and everyone all over the world is about to feel the pain....

Actually, because of all of the waffIeing, I really wonder? If anyone was so anxious as he was about wearing heels in public, it would only be logical to wear a pair heels that weren't so conspicuous, wouldn't it?

Should I ever have a partner in the future, she'll have to accept me as I am.
The best way to find that "partner" is to tell her/him up front before things get serious, about you and your high heels. That way, if your chosen partner doesn't approve, you can move on without any of the encumbrances associated with long term relationships -- i.e. children, divorce, alimony, etc.

My wife describes the shoes as "dress shoes" to be worn with a "party" ensemble. But, on the other hand, they're your shoes and you can wear them with whatever you want to wear them with and wherever you want to wear them. It's your choice and if you're comfortable wearing them with jeans, by all means, wear them with jeans. What's the big strain, anyway?

With my girlfriend out for the day I was able to have some time to try some things on. Enjoy.
I've looked at the pictures you've posted. The best idea I can say is that I'd do this all over again while your girl friend is home so that she could help you coordinate your outfits.
While I know dressing in that fashion might give you a big thrill, I fear that you are the only one that gets anything out of the way you look.

Just because Congress has done away with DADT doesn't mean there will be no "restrictions" on openly gay behavior. While I'm sure that the very admission of a military person revealing his/her homosexuality will no longer be grounds for being automatically dismissed from active duty, there will still be certain actions that are not in accordance with current UCMJ, will be cause for dismissal. The same is true for straight individuals when break acceptable rules of sexual behavior.

Next time wear a pair of ankle boots that are less obviously women's shoes. I've done this many times and never had any problems or adverse comments. In fact, I am sure that the only person that knew that I was even wearing high heels was my wife. And, I know she wouldn't say anything.

Confused, if you are planning to go into politics or run for public office, please make sure that your potential constituents are aware, in some manner or form, of your liking to wear high heels. Try to keep it a secret during a campaign for any political office, will leave you wide open for any opponent(s) to use to smear your character and credibility. Just an observation on my part. But, revelation in the heat of battle could be extremely embarrassing.

Heelster and happyinheels, you need to search back through Kneehigh's postings and read about how he mixes various items of female clothing with his heels and wears them out and about New York City and other cities around the globe. I'm sure you'll find many useful suggestions for you to evaluate.

I have been wearing heels to sleep in for most nights during the past 6-8 months. Usually it is a pair of sandals but ocassionally a pair of peep toe pumps. My wife does not know(or she has not let me know that she is aware of this) even though I keep the shoes right under our bed. I am thinking now that she is of the "don't ask don't tell" way of dealing with the situation. I would like to get it out in the open, but have not found the courage to attempt bringing the subject up. I can't get enought heel wearing in during the day to satisfy myself(especially sandals) so wearing them in bed and while sleeping is how I satisfy my need.
Your home/house is your wife's nest. There isn't anything that goes on in and around her nest that she is not aware of. Keeping your heels under your side of the bed is the quickest way for her to discover them (Or else she's a lousy house keeper).
Don't worry, I bet she has already found them. And, if she hasn't said anything about them, perhaps she knows you better than you think she does.
One thing I would do if I were you, however, is to be prepared to give her a really good explanation as to "why" those high heels were under the bed, whenever she does get around to asking you about them. And, your answer had better be very, very truthful. Otherwise, you are just going to add to the impression that you're keeping something else "secret" in which case, you're goose is doubly cooked.

I'm sure most members that read LailaLily's comment (above) will feel that it is such a strange comment in a place where almost everything said is supportive to men wearing heels and various other items of apparel designed for the female sex.
After reflection, besides being blunt, to the point and honest, it's true regardless of how much you might disagree.
LailaLily has presented a factual opinion that would be the opinion of 99.9% of the entire world's female population (and, who only knows the percentage of the male population that agrees with it.)
Sorry guys but we (members of this form) are actually reacting toward our own tastes, likes and interests in a totally "issue" friendly environment where we, as men in heels, find nothing what so ever wrong with the practice.
If attitudes in the real world would support the practice, those of us that wear heels in public would never give consideration as to what "reactions" from other members of the general we have/would received while out and about wearing our heels and/or other female garments.
Sorry guys, but if it was "OK" we'd not be asking the question.
