  1. A great sighting yesterday evening. I saw a woman, in her early 30's walking into an Italian restaurant with her bf/husband/s.o. wearing black leather slingbacks with a pointed closed toe and 5" stiletto heels. She wore a black knee length skirt and back business jacket. She was also wearing nylons/tights. Ouch! oh well, a great sighting never the less. Dan

  2. Three more sightings today. The weather was great here in Salem. Sunny, no clouds and rain. A lot of women wearing very styish clothing today. #1. A mid-to-late 30's woman wearing knee length, granny style boots with a 3.5" to 4" stiletto heel. She was also wearing a black long skirt. This sighting was at a wal-mart of all places. Very styish. And she had a daughter, about 3 to 5 years old with her. #2. A woman wearing some kind of siletto heel shoe or boot at a restaurant in the downtown Salem mall. I only saw the silhouette of the woman and the shoes. #3. A young woman, around 18 to 22, wearing red mules with a 2" spike heel. She was picking something up at the Baskin and Robbins at the same mall. Possibly a mall employee. Dan

  3. Welcome to our board Babe. I noticed in your profile you have an interest in photography. I'm an amatuer fashion and glamour photographer. In my signature is the link to my photographer's profile in One Model Place. Have a wonderful time with the board and don't be shy in posting here. Dan

  4. I seen three different heel sightings the past week. They were mostly stilettto heel boots with jeans over them. The heels heights were 4"+ and a 2" to 2.5" spike worn by a lady in her 30's to 40's. The other two sightings were worn by women in their 20's, so there is a little hope out there yet. Dan

  5. Dan,

Don't tell me you didn't have the camera with you??:(:)

    Geoff,

Yes I am guilty. I did not have my camera with me this time. And another bit of irony, I was meeting a model who eventually I did a photo shoot with late last week.

  6. I was walking to the mall in downtown salem when I heard that distinct clicking sound. There was a woman wearing black, mary jane pumps with 5" stiletto heels. She cross the opposite crosswalk that i did and in the same direction, then cross the street towards me to the entrance of the shopping mall. Tall, gorgeous young brunette woman, around mid to late 20's. She headed to Victoria's Secret. Great sighting. Just when the winter blues set in, this ray of light shines. Dan

  7. Thanks for the tips to take better pictures. I will certainly keep those in mind for the next ones.

It was a lot of fun taking those pictures. I had an incredible model to work with of course.

As for the car, it is the LX model. 190hp, V6 under the hood. Loaded except for leather. With some modifications I could increase the power to 250hp. The GT model has 260 ponies. I rather like it though and most important Laurie likes it.

Laurie hasn't had the opportunity to experience the Mustang from the drivers seat. I can see that happening though in the very near future.

If you want to take the ultimate picture, one person you should talk to is Skymaster. He is a semi-professional photographer and I learned a lot from him. I send him examples of my work and he critiques them. I take his recommendations and advice seriously. I admired his work a long time before I ever talked to him.

If you want advice on taking car pictures, another person to talk to is D-USA. He is a serious car enthusiast and also an amatuer photographer.

Incoporate the two together and you might get that ulitmate pic of a gorgeous high heel model standing or sitting next to a sweet ride. You have the components already, so go out and have fun.

  8. Wow! Amazing Pics Laurie. As a serious photographer, might I suggest to crop out part of the sky and the road on the right side of the pic. Keep the mountains and have him zoom in or move in closer. The second pic, since I never shot in a misty, enclosed room, I don't know what to suggest. More front lighting or a bigger and/or powerful flash. Overall the pics are great. You might make a good model yet. Dan

  9. I thought I was alone when I recieved these large sized emails in my bulk mail folder. I had the same thing happen to me that happened to Azraelle, I recieved mail from somebody using the names of 'firefoxheels' and 'yamyam' with a 120-150 kb size of the email. I think someone is/was trying to create chaos in our little community. So if somebody wants a reason why the administrators are cracking down on guests who do not register, here is one example. Dan

  10. When I went to Portland last Thursday to pick supplies for my new digital camera (Sept 19, 2002), I seen a decent number of spike heel sightings. Here is an image that I took:

Unfortunately the is the best view since she wore jeans over the shoes. I was sitting only 5 feet away from her and I did not think she noticed me photographing her. (Ahhh! Silent digital cameras)

    Here's Another:

I know a lower heel (around 2"), but it was definately a spike heel pump.

    One more:

This young woman was only 3 feet in front of me! I know the shoes is not a true spike/stiletto, but the closeness of the subject, and the fact she was dressed really nice with a pair of heels got my attention. Also more amazing was she did not notice me or catch me photographing her.

All photographs was taken at Pioneer Courthouse Square in downtown Portland. It is a public park, or gathering area for a better term. It is the place to see and be seen. All photos was taken with a Canon Powershot A20 digital camera, my old digi camera. Not the new one I recently recieved.

  11. Another great sighting yesterday (Sept 11, 2002). I was at the local mall when I heard that distinct clicking sound. A woman, in her 40's, wearing the classic black stiletto heel pumps (courts) with a 4" heel. She was wearing a black business suit with multi-colored trim. She was with her significant other. A very nice sighting. Dan

  12. Last Wednesday (Sept. 4 2002) There is a once a month festival here in downtown Salem. Artists, dancers, and performers perform on the sidewalks in front of the businesses. This one art gallery had a female artist painting and sketching in front of this store. She was around 30-40. She had on 4" black sandals with a spike heel. Here is the pic:

There a second sighting that same day. A woman wearing 5" stiletto heels boots with a very pointed toe. She was standing in front of a Starbucks. No pic of that one.

    Hope you all enjoy.

  13. Here's Sarah Michelle Gellar wearing some really lovely shoes (I wonder if she's using that wall for support?)

I photographed a few models and I've seen the portfolios of a bunch more. Having her hands on the wall like that is a standard model pose. It is for balance and posture, but mainly for a more appealing line from head to toe. The shoes look good. I say a good 5" high.

  14. In daytime, you can see every aspect and/or details about the heels that is worn. Stellah is absolutely right when it comes to night time. There is that sense of mystery, especially if you hear the heels walking towards or away from you. The sound can certainly arouse curiousity and stimulate the imagination. Dan
