Welcome Paul. Hope you post often here as you do in the old forum.

Yes, Katie Couric and Ann Curry has been wearing some great looking shoes and boots the past year or so. I finally noticed when the fashion sense went from those thick and chunky claudehoppers to the feminine, thin and spikey stiletto heel sandals and boots.

I like the white pumps/courts too. And with the ankle straps, your foot won't slip off from the shoes. I'm sure you'll be walking in no time with two pairs of 7-inch heels to practice with.

Great going Vanity! I'm sure with practice and persistance, you'll going to be walking in them in no time. I really like the black patent pumps/courts.

As a budding amatuer fashion photographer myself, I was shocked and stunned when I read that Helmut Newton passed away. His work has been a sense of inspiration to me. He photographed the most glamourous women in the world when celebrities were larger than life. When Hollywood changed the past 30 years, he switched the camera to more unknown people. May he rest in peace.

I wished the Europeans' Beagle 2 was in working order. I heard that rover would have exposed the secrets of Mars.

I have a little kids scooter that I ride to the store sometimes in my high heels!
Wow Meg-Ann!!! Seeing you riding that scooter would be an amazing sight to witness.

I saw the most delicious pair of calf length stilettos with around 4.5 to 5" heels. They had a little "v" at the back with a chain across worn outside a pair of tight jeans.
Sounds like a great sighting Doctor. I wish I could experience that kind of sighting here in the Western U.S.

Despite having icy sidewalks and roadways the past couple of days, I saw 4 different women wearing spike heel boots in the local malls and Best Buy electronic store. And a couple of other women wearing thicker heel boots today.

Last week (Thursday, Dec 18th), I saw a girl, around 16-17 years old, and her bf waiting for a bus. She was wearing a black mini skirt and a pair of brown 4" spike heel mules with a closed, pointed toe toebox. The odd thing is that the weather was very cold and her wearing such a short skirt was a bit unusual.

Earlier this month (Dec. 5), I was eating at a big city shopping mall, when I saw a girl, about 15-16 years old wearing a a black and pink dress with an asymetrical hem and a pair of 4" black, lace up spike heel boots. She ran to meet and hug a friend of hers and nearly wrestled her friend to the ground.

'Spikey' represents spike heels. And Dan is my real first name.

As an owner of a PS2 for over 3 years, I would suggest the PS2. Not only I play games, I also have a collection of over 100 dvd movies too. And you do not need a remote to play dvd's. A person can use the game controller to play dvd's. Dan

I hate to be the one to bring this person up on this post, but I must, Britney Spears.

She got them on E-Bay, at a pretty good price as well.
A cool price and home delivery too. Can't beat a deal like that.

A gravel parking lot with a slight downhill grade.
Did you land on your backside? Did you walked away unscathed?
Inquiring minds want to know.

More great pics PC. Where did Missy get those PVC outfits?

Another great pic and great outfit Laurie.

Who cares, so long as shoe manufacturers keep making the shoes with those heels!
I agree with you Laurie. The shoemakers keeps making them, everyone keeps buying them and buy them often. (And we send them all to Laurie - The Goddess )

Speaking for myself as an American heel admirer, I've used both terms of 'spike' and 'stiletto' many times in conversation and in written form. I always call a stiletto heel with a heel higher than 4", while I call a spike heel any heel height from a 1/2" to 7" (and beyond). This is my own personal preference.
-
OMG!!! Wow!!! You are the Goddess.

Laurie, you should definately keep the the top image. The bottom pic, your right forearm and hand is missing. But everything is blurry right now. :drinking:
Foot Pain
in For the guys
Posted
To intro myself, I'm a non-heel wearing male. I been experiencing foot pain around my heel and arch area on both feet for the past 3 months and all I wear is Nike trainers. But I've had recurring foot pain since I was a teen, so everything is just coming to a head right now. I hope it is just the winter season and cold weather right now.
