Well I guess I was thinking of the style and not the color exactly. Your other business outfit with the ballet heels was stunning so I figured the ballets would look just as stunning with this outfit with the latex corset and all.

ok I see. Hm I would say balletheels are - well, - balletheels and ACTUALLY they will never be as classy as *normal* highheels are and can destroy a look as well. though that game with making balletheels look as if they were is quite funny too, I agree .

Ok, my opinion is completely different at that - I think everybody should be free to wear what one wants and likes, especially as there will ALWAYS be somebody not liking exactly that- indifferent either you fit in the current (!) standards of *beauty* or not.

Alone wearing latex or extreme high heels is considered ugly for many so it won´t be a measurment for a decision for me. By the way I also normally do wear *Large* - well and I do not think it ok from you to *forbid* me this because you don´t like it... Just don´t look then!

ok here in germany they seem to conquer magazines, shops etc,- considering lady gaga and similar I believe there will be more in that direction, but higher than those now and eventually some new platform creations. mind also in fifties wegdes were considered quite classy & sexy (pinup girl pictures) - notice a lot of cheap china heeless platform boots at ebay- well I do not think they really will leave the fetish corner but at that mass they change the perception- and; after I was kind of forced to make my first experience wearing wegdes- they FEEL very nice at feet, even when quite high- I guess better ergonomic stability easier to produce even if they are cheap made... well, we will see. some of gml wegde styles I thought e.g. VERY interesting and nice. And obviously these already are copied by cheap manufacturers... there is quite for sure more to come.

Yes but you can bet your boots that she won't actually be designing them. She certainly won't be cutting patterns, writing spec sheets, cutting plans, closing plans and all the other essential parts of the design process.

I would call that more likely construction then or realising a design- but it might be a lingual issue.

and all that job is is not what the most *designers*do anyway, but exactly what cole would do: just choosing of what´s available, eventually new colour pattern style combinations but not the construction itself.

this is the point: it is about ideas and creativity here, and of course about marketing in a huge industry which actually functions it self without names needed. but it is eventually what people want - so how nice from that industry, right;)- they will get it.

that´s true there are other people making the actual job and having all the necessary knowledge & experience about it- but well it does not really matter and they normally won´t have the fame a designer will get- just for the *vain* idea of something. .. at the same - who knows,?- we actually don´t- but being rich or popular or what ever does not mean somebody likes highheels less than we here and eventually they do know about it more than me- you- who ever. as an example about victoria beckham- I don´t know about the shoes, I do not know how much she works at her clothes lines but concerning her showed collections I would take her as designer seriously.

well it is kind of art is to do things we can do well and let other people do other things they can better... so eventually her doing design it self might be a mess, so it is all ok even if it is more likely just a promotional issue. BUT considering she seems to opt for beautiful highheels this might mean some new nice styles will come out. why not, even if the way is like that? nobody will take her seriously as *shoe designer* after a collection with her name only, so I don´t see the problem....

I did not estimate it *cheap-looking* (sometimes one only recognizes that if knowing the brand or seller ) - but I would not care anyway if it is a shoe I like, and beeing CHEAP itself is not exactly a reason NOT to buy a shoe LOL.

elite-heels has amazing sense for (even very high) platforms too and has to be mentioned here I think. the shoes might be considered fetish at that height (but for sure not *stripper shoes even inspite of my outfit here lol), some vintage touch too but very very classy IMO!!! sorry they are partly overexposed here, it is just some stills from a videoclip to show the shoes, - they are light grey suede & dark red sole.

well it is not only voting - I think here are quite alot girls writing which ....ehm ain´t girls the most time of their lives . So I do not know if a *girls-forum here has any sense anyway. Funny it seems it is more likely men who are horrified then to discover an obvious fantasy-girl is a fantasy only .

About men in highheels; shortly: I do not care - I accept- I prefer women wearing highheels.

One should wear what one wants to - this not depending on the gender. if they like themselves that way, they can wear what they want. But I also do not think it is an issue to talk much about.

What I do not like is some men _complaining_ about *a problem* and lack of acceptance (mostly those who just do not dare) - you know, women would just DO it if they want to. By the way, women wearing highheels have to *fight* for their attitude too. Or the same bad: some men steadily craving for beeing affirmed how good it looks at them. And this is what I actually think ridiculous. People have also the right NOT to like something. There are also people who do not like highheels generally, and it is their right as well. Would I refuse to wear highheels because of those? Def. no. I wear highheels because I myself like them, so it is where the emphasis should be on and not what other people might think.

Still as to my own personal taste- in my opinion at 99% women wearing highheels look much better than men in highheels do. I am straight so may be it is my prejudices making me prefer women dressed a feminine way- highheels are feminine for me. there are some men having the attitude and style to look good wearing highheels - but I like them at women (or at me LOL) more.
