Hey TBG, I probably put on even more than 8 miles the shopping day, from the large pic above! Cathy had me in almost every store we passed on Robson Street (big shopping street in Vancouver), Granville, Davie Street and then back and forth........yes, these Boots are well worn in! Probably just the angle of the pic, as the heel is vary sturdy and easy to walk in. Cristina Shoes from Montreal made a very nice product, many styles of Boots and shoes. I believe they may have gone out of bsuiness though about 7 or 8 years ago, not 100% sure. david

The notice I received indicated the Little Shoe Box product, maybe a retailer who sells this product? Not sure as I have not ordered any Little Shoe Box Boots in about six years. david

I just updated my photo album at the link www in the album "David in Vancouver Oct 2005" with three more Blue Jeans and Boots pics. These were taken on a rather rainy day in Vancouver, one of those drizzly days. We were determined to get our Stanley park walk in and dressed appropriately as you can see. This are in Stanley park is just about a mile and a half along from the English Bay area where we started the walk. We ended up doing the full 8 miles or so...yes, the heels stood up! Amazingly, even in the rain we passed tons of people on the walk. We topped off the walk with a stop at Starbuck's then out for a late lunch at the Cactus Club Cafe.....

This is large, next time I'll reduce, sorry. This pic was taken in downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada in mid October of this year. Cathy and I had been out all day shopping, walking up and down Robson, Davie etc. and had just finished lunch at the Cactus Club Cafe in Yaletown when we stopped for some pics. From here we headed to Starbuck's in Yaletown for goodies!
The Boots are from a company in Montreal called Cristina Shoes. I bought these in mid 90's, one of my favourite walking Boots, comfortable and they look good if I say so myself! Very soft leather. The heel is 4 inches. I like wearing these Boots with black jeans tucked into them, also wear them with black elather pants and blue jeans.

Just received my first pair of the Pleaser 8899's in white leather, wow! Great fit and yes a nice height. Spent all day yesterday in them. I now have two more pairs on the way in brown leather and red leather.

Great looking pictures. The 8868’s are a pull on style that is quick to slip into and, with the addition of a cushioned insole, are very comfortable. You really present a great image wearing them and your confidence shows right through.
With only 10 seconds on the timer, will there be enough time to photograph you in your ballet boots? I never thought that you could maneuver in them that quickly.

Really nice pictures of you and Cathy. The “Cathy Nov 2005” look like Pleaser 8890’s which are a cow skin pull on boot. Does she have any problem keeping the boots up? Mine kept sliding down my legs because the shaft on the size 14s is too large for my leg. I wound up running a seam down the inside of the shaft to make them tighter.

I still recommend the 8899 style with an ankle zipper and a 5” heel. If you can wear a 5” heel these are, with an insole, more comfortable then the 8868’s . The are a little taller then the 8868s and the shaft is tighter. It’s just a little more effort to get them on but they look great on your leg and and over jeans.

Hi Chris, Don't believe they are. We bought them on ebay recently. They appear to be Wild Pair style from the early 90's, made in Chile. Catyhy has six other Wild Pair styles from that timeframe that look similar and the foot & design are consistent. david

Well here I am sitting at home with my boots on and my boy is in bed. This is the first time I have worn them at home so he can see them. He tried them on, both the cowgirl and the thighhghs.......He will be wearing the cowgirl boots out but all he could say about the thighhighs was that he didn't understand how women could or would walk in them, but he will wear them for me. He says that he does not share my fetish and is sorry that he doesn't. It didn't go as well as I had hoped but it went better than it could. And I think he will evertually grow to like them.
Thanks for all the support guys, I don't think I could have been this open with him without finding this site.
BTW David, great shots and great boots on you'r picture site. I now know I will be able to go out in public in them. Not rite away but give me some time.

Here's another update from me! As my confidence grew, I graduated to a new pair boots to streetheel to!
They are my black leather knee-high boots from Anne Smith i got off ebay a few weeks back. They are extremely comfortable boots, even more so than my first ones. They are way more feminine looking and its quite the jump from the boots i had before.
A couple days ago me and my wife decided to go out to a fancy italian restaurant for our anniversary. We both dressed up nicely, and she wore her knee high stretchy pleather like boots with a 2-inch heel, so we both celebrated with our boots on! It was quite fun!
At first I was nervous heading inside plus we had a 20min waiting period for a table, so we had to stand around with other customers. You can definately tell I was wearing feminine boots but it seems like no one really notices or really cared. I didn't get any funny looks or comments, I was just being normal me as always. There a few people around our table when we were seated, but that wasn't a problem at all. When I am seated it shows more of the boots and heel. Still no one really notices or cares!!
I'm really beginning to enjoy streetheeling, its very exhilarating experience!

At work, I have worn a pair of flat heeled thigh boots and a 1 ½” block heeled knee boot under my slacks but that was because it was cold. I often wear non-descript flats or low heel ankle boots at my desk. The data center is a 7x24 operation so there is always someone around.
The drive to work is about 45 minutes and does provide the opportunity for daily boot wearing. I normally stop at a Bigg’s on the way in to pick up some munchies for lunch and I always wear my boots in there. I also often stop at Sam’s on the way home and always wear my boots there also. The staff at both of these stores has become very accustomed to seeing me in boots and these stores became my testing ground for skirt wearing.

Along with the "mocha" brown leather Boots I have on the way I also ordered a red leather pair as my favourite red leather Wild Pair Boots from around 1990 are so worn and they've had two heel and sole jobs done on them, not sure if they'll survive much longer!
