You're right, I take a lot of pride in keeping Cathy's and my Boots clean and looking as new as possible. I use a combination of Lexol cleaner after every trip outdoors and treat the Boots at least once every other month with Lexol conditioner. My older Boots I treat with conditioner monthly. With 68 pairs of my Boots and 26 of Cathys, this is a busy job!!! And I love every minute of it (hehehehehe).

Mexico....I have found there is never a climate too hot for Boots! In Georgia where we lived for six years, temps used to reach in the 90's on most summer days and very humid, but it never stopped Boot wearing!

The clubs in Cabo have seen cathy and I in our Boots before, and they are about to again !

Question......you have ventured into work now a couple of times with your flat heel thigh Boots.....I bet you'd have no problems spendingt he day in them at the office. Once I had chosen to do so back in 1989 in my office, there was turning back as it was accepted immediately. Have fun and express yourself. I bet you'll find you'll get lots of very positive comments, as you look great in Boots.

Awesome, glad to hear you wore your flat heeled thigh high Boots to the office over jeans. I love wearing this look myself. Same problem up here in Canada during the winter, lots of ice around today. I did the same.

Cathy and I went to the supermarket, a hair cutting place, travel agent (final payment for our mexico holiday in January, can't wait), bakery for coffee and pastry, and to a Boot/Shoe store for some leather cleaner. The pair I wore were a pair that Wild Pair sold back in 1990, mens cavalier style thigh high Boots, they have ribbing around the knee area, very nice Boot with a tight fit, over top of blue jeans.

Tonight though Cathy and I are off to dinner and a movie, it will be my new brown mocha Pleaser 8899's with the 5 inch heels over top of a cream pair of leather pants and a brown turtle neck sweater. Cathy is wearing white riding pants tucked into her red leather thigh high Boots, a pair from Wild Pair, a short red leather fringe on the tops.

Thank you for the compliments. I bought the white leather THBs you see from a web shoe/Boot store in the UK. However, I know Bob & Angie in PA carry the same Boots (Pleasers) because I just bought a brown leather pair and a red leather pair from them. The pair I am wearing are the 5inch heel version that rise 30 inches.

Over the years I have bought more than 25 pairs of Boots from them, they are great. Always tremendous service and awesome Boot selection.

Thank you for your wonderful compliments. I do enjoy the look. The friends we ran into at the bakery are actually a Lady Cathy knows from her gym and her husband. Beth had seen me before in thigh Boots when I picked Cathy up at the gym etc. and wasn't the least bit surprised. Her husband though had only heard about us from his wife was full of questions. We chatted for about an hour. Beth's comments to her husband as they left were, "if david has the confidence to dress the way he feels you should do the same." Now we're intrigued as to what fashion desires he may have?

Yes, the white leather Boots are always a challenge to keep clean. What I do is always treat my Boots with leather cleaner and protector before going out, each time. Cathy says I am compulsive sometimes on this, but it sure saves the Boots. I always keep the carpet in the drivers side of the car clean and if it is snowing or wet out we have an old towel we'll throw down on the floor to protect the Boots. As soon as we get home I always clean the Boots again and find that the protector I have put on before going out usually does a great job of ensuring nothing has ruined the leather.

I have many pairs of suede Boots and with these I always spray them with protector before going out and always always have the old towel down to protect them.

Yup, I will admit, I am compulsive when it comes to protecting our Boots....look after Cathys for her as well.

Cathy and I just got back from our morning shopping thought we'd send along a few pics. Cathy was not in Boots this morning however I was. Enjoyed ourselves at the bakery, coffee and pastries. Good conversation with some friends we ran into. Stopped at the fresh produce market and also the butchers. Then we spent an hour or so downtown at the bookstore and walking around the main street. Still quite a bit of snow around. Just came through the door about 45 minutes ago and took a few pics. At www link below you can see the larger versions....

Good Morning Y'all, The snow was a falling last night here in BC, Canada....and Cathy and I were dressed for the weather! We went out to dinner last night both in high heel black leather thigh high Boots overtop of our pants. Walking back to our car, we took the long way through downtown on the main street, couldn't resist doing a little window shopping, stopped into a bookstore etc., when we came to an intersection waiting for the light to change. At the intersection were an elderly couple, probably mid 70's, both very fashionably dressed, in fact the Lady had on black hh ankle Boots and a nice white fur coat. We all made eye contact with hello's exchanged. After the foot to head eyes up and down look the Lady says to us, "are you two ever dressed appropriately for tonights weather. Those are very nice Boots you're both wearing." We thanked her for her comments and continued our walk. It is these wonderful genuine comments that confirm that there are many people who are open to fashion and do not have closed minds to expression. david

For years and years I wore tight knee high (or higher) socks inside my Boots so they would keep my pant legs tight. I don't like any bulkiness when wearing my Boots, a tight fit looks cool. It was always difficult to find the long socks and also to ensure they stayed tight, many times losing their elasticity. A short time ago Cathy asked me why I didn't wear knee high nylons as they would accomplish what i like as well as be even less bulkier. She bought me a couple of packs, three to a pack, and since that day I have worn nothing but the nylon knee highs...I enjoy the feel much better. It did take me back to when I was a teenager as I did wear nylon knee highs back then as well. david

Hi everyone, I have been away for a few days and I'm only now getting back into the thick of things. This is a great topic Jeff and there has been some great feedback, TBG, right on! For myself, how I see myself has evolved over the years. During my early heel and Boot wearing days as a teenager, mostly hidden away and out of sight, I knew I felt good in heels and Boots, but did not think so much of how I looked to others. I was much more naive and not as concerned with how others felt. So much so that when I bought my first high heel pair of Boots at age 14 I thought nothing of walking down main street in them. As I grew into my twenties, having a family and more work/business responsibilities I withdrew completely and enjoyed my passion strictly behind closed doors with cathy. In public we depended entirely on the enjoyment of cathy wearing her Boots and high heels.....not complaining thats for sure! It was not until I was 32, now had my own business and our children were now 11 and 9 that I began to enjoy seeing myself in high Boots. It began with flat heeled mens thigh high cavalier style Boots worn over pants. I loved this look and the reactions I got supported my fashion statement. I went from wearing this style a few times per week in 1989 to almost daily by 1990and included all my business meetings, the office, around family, etc. By 1994 however, our children now 16 and 14, my business in Georgia now replaced by a fetish based publishing business in western canada, i began to experiment more. Cathy and I began with me wearing high heel Boots out in the evening, to restaurants and clubs. This was discreet and not taking on too much at once. I loved the look as did Cathy. I received lots of very positive feedback on how cool my Boots were, or what a brave fashion statement. I felt so confident that later in 1994 I decided to begin wearing high heel thigh high Boots to my business appointments and clients stores, etc. Walking out the door that first morning and knwoing I had six clients to see that day whilest wearing black jeans with black leather 5 inch heel thigh high Boots over top of them was exciting. Everywhere I went that first day in high heel Boots while workjing was positive or a non event. At one store the female owner had me do a few catwalk type walks while she determined if she liked the Boots or not. Her vote was, yes! From that point on I was off and wearing high heel thigh high Boots all the time, now almost 12 years in doing so. I must say, in my own eyes (and Cathys) I think I look pretty darn good. I don't see myself as "strange" or "different". Simply, an expression of myself and my fashion. And as I say in my tag line, "dress for your own pleasure"....as that's what it is all about. david

Hi Dawn,

We didn't take any pics last night but I wore them out to the pub for drinks and dinner with cathy. I wore a long sleeve open neck black t-shirt with a long light tan open outdoor shirt over top of the t-shirt. Light tan jeans with a thick black silver studded belt and the white leather thigh high Boots over the jeans. When we get a chance this weekend we'll get some pics as we're planning to do a little shopping downtown and I know I'll be wearing this outfit again on Saturday.

The staff at the pub know us well and this was the first time I had worn the new white leather thigh highs into the pub. Lisa our server gave out a gasp when she saw us walk in and she blurted out, "omg those Boots are to die for". At which, every head turned to see what had gotten Lisa so excited. And as usual, everything went right back to normal after every one took in the site and they went back about their business.

Hi Dawn, You know, we both feel we are. We have known one another since we were 17 years old, over 31 years. My very first gift for Cathy for Christmas when she was 17 was a knee high pair of black platform leather Boots! We have shared our passion/fetish for all these years. It has been very enjoyable. Cathy's Mom knew right away that first Christmas 31 years ago when she made the comment to cathy, "I think david has a special thing about Boots, what do you think"? What could Cathy say but yes! Around Cathy's parents we have been able to be open and ourselves since day 1. david
