Wow, I like that color. Anyone wearing them can be spotted a mile away. They're real "attention getters". I'd like to hear the story behind the picture. Did you actually dress like that and wear those shoes in public? If you did, good for you. I'm glad someone has the courage to appear outside the house in broad daylight wearing stiletto heels.

Passing the Buck

I’ve no experience with Leatherworks. I do, however, have two pairs of pumps with 7” heels from LSB (http://www.thelittleshoebox.com/images/shoes/4118.jpg ).

Fine quality and, I think, reasonable prices for custom, hand made shoes in these times. I recently inquired on the purchase of a pair of black and white pumps with 6” heels (style X-10, size 8½ UK) and was quoted a price of £75 and another £25 for customs and shipping to the USA. (Oh, they promised delivery in 3 weeks.)

(7" heels are difficult to wear, by the way)

Perhaps there's someone that reads this board that can personally visit this comapny on your behalf and find out what the real story is. Anyone out there willing to help this member? Other than packing your tent and stealing away into the night (writing this incidnt off as a complete loss and gaining unforgetable -- and expensive --experience) perhaps a good French Lawyer ((now, there's an oxymoron for you??))
