Spikey Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Hi, I've come across a company in Nottingham www.glamour-heels.co.uk that offers plain shoe boxes as an option. This is a great idea. Whilst its nice to keep those "special" shoes in a box, its better to have them in a discreet plain box without the colourful logos, shoe sizes and style markings that are a dead giveaway as to whats inside! Really good idea!
t-strap lover Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I guess its a good idea, but after you buy them they should be in a shopping bag. The only person to know the style and size would be the clerk. t-straps are my favorite style.
aussieheels1 Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 i think Spikey is probably thinking about being able to store them at home in the box and wouldn't get suspicion from random visitors etc (of ourse unless they are going through your closet..)
Spikey Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 What I meant was that when you store shoes, you don't necessarily want them in a bright pink box as its obvious it contains something girly. www.glamour-heels.co.uk is a mail order company - the carrier bag scenario doesnt apply.
t-strap lover Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Sounds good to me. There's a shop here called the container store. they have all size's and shapes of box's for storage. even shoe box's made of plastic. some clear and some dark colored. t-straps are my favorite style.
HappyFeat Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 If the boxes are plain, how would YOU know which pair was in the box? I keep my shoes in two large containers under my bed, which should be discreet enough. Style is built from the ground up!

Even if it did, you'd just take your own bag... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

Most of my boots have names anyway such as my college boots (the one's I always wore to college), my bear boots (brown suede crotch boots) etc. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

roniheels Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I myself don't care if the high heels I purchase are in a pink, flowery box. I bought a pair today that was in a very feminine box and I didn't care. I would have worn them out of the store but the I sensed the female clerk was uncomfortable with me buying them. Although I was wearing a pair of high heels when I went into the store. I thought discretion was the better part of valour in this case.
