Houseworks in ballets

I know in the girls forum there's a similar thread... I'd just like to know whether someone wears ballets for the housework. I ask this 'cause I'm very short, so even on tiptoe it's hard to reach certain high shelves for me.

Can you see the real me, preacher? Can you see the real me, doctor? Can you see the real me, mother? Can you see the real me?

Well, guess the answer to your question would be yes. When painting the walls of my old place before selling it I did wear a pair of ballet boots while painting the upper edges so I didnt have to drag a ladder around. This did amuse the friend who was helping me  More recently I have worn ballet boots while cooking dinner. My setup with pointe shoes inside of a pair of ballet boots does a fair job supporting my foot, but since my 2nd toe is longer then the rest I still get too much pressure on it and injure the toenail if I walk around for more then an hour or so. Untill I figure out a good way past that I try to limit my walking in them to shorter tasks. I did lock on a pair of 5.5" boots while cleaning the house last weekend. That was fun
