sendra45 Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 Hi all, this might be one for the members here in Blighty. Just stumbled accross a pair of boots by Bellisimo in a charity shop, they are a size 9 and fit me great, they must be nearly a 10. so with this in mind, who sells that brand new? I am hoping that all their size 9's are that big. If they are, then Happy days! thanks for your help in advance. Nigel The angels have the phonebox.
jo Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 They appear to be an American retailer of Italian-made shoes. Their website is at: http://www.bellisimostores.com/ They might be a one-off import from someone who ordered by mail-order, or who bought them while on holiday there. Google comes up with: Leather Goods -- Bellissimo -- 200 Archway Road LONDON, N6 5BA -- 020 8347 0665 but that could be anything.
Dr. Shoe Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 I thought Bellissimo was a brand name of payless shoes, I'm guessing the boots are plastic right? Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
euchrid Posted August 18, 2007 Posted August 18, 2007 yeah, I thought the same about www.bellisimostores.com If those boots were American made though, the 'size 9' would presumably have been a UK size 7. For that reason, I'd guess they're UK made. That Archway Road shop has its own (very basic!) website:- www.bellissimoshop.co.uk The boots could possibly be theirs, although I wouldn't put any money on it! Always High-Heel Responsibly
sendra45 Posted August 19, 2007 Author Posted August 19, 2007 I thought Bellissimo was a brand name of payless shoes, I'm guessing the boots are plastic right? yeh, they are not leather, I thought that too, but wanted confirmation. I am sure they are not from those other higher end shops. thanks for confirming my thoughts. Nigel The angels have the phonebox.
