Magickman
Somewhat by accident, I discovered that Zappos Shoes has an on-line shoe digest of letters and comments about shoe-related topics. So, just for fun, I wrote a short letter, which they published a few days later. ================================ Here it is: From: Magickman Subject: Shoe gender Breaking the barrier in shoe gender is guaranteed to raise hackles. It gets some people quite upset. But there are guys who enjoy crossing this line. I have great fun at my local area singles dances, showing up in womens boots with 4" and even 5" heels. Most of the women who I ask, are quite willing to dance with the man in heels. In the heel boots, I am around 3" taller, and height is a big deal to many women. The gals seem to like me better, when I am taller in heels, than when I am shorter, in flat shoes. A lot of them say they cannot wear heels themselves, and they are amazed that I can dance in stilettos. You might laugh, but I am a fellow who loves to go dancing in heels. JeffB
Wow! That's really interesting! I'll certainly be curious to find out if you get any responses! I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!
gary0618
Magickman, I get that email often too. Today I saw the heading and knew it had to be somebody from here. Congratulations on getting them to run it. I had sent in something similar about 6 months ago, but never saw mine in their newsletter. Maybe many of us here should respond to Magickman's Post. I have! If you missed the email, here it is again....
