dr1819 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Yeah, I know - cruddy title. But great at marrying heels with clogs and other shoe expertise, and a man could get away wearing any one of these styles (sadly, only up to a size 42 EU).
dr1819 Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 PS - I especially like the higher-heeled boot and the second to last loafer.
hoverfly Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 PS - I especially like the boot and the second to last loafer. WERD^^^^ Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!
docs41 Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 I've been a Dansko fan for a long time, especially their clogs. I wear size 41 so it's even better for me. The owner at one of the local Dansko dealers knows my preference for the womens styles so she always helps me when I stop in. Too bad there aren't more in here who like Dansko. If the shoe fits-buy it!!!!!!
Wolfgang Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Idunno...I'm probably a bit too young to appreciate Danskos.
hoverfly Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Idunno...I'm probably a bit too young to appreciate Danskos. Depend what you do for a living, like how about those who work in a hospital, many wear Danskos at all ages. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!

hoverfly Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Adeana works in a hospital, but she wears spiked heels. Cheers--- Dawn HH When I was a kid my next door neighbor that to, she was notorious for wearing heels all the time while doing rounds. She just died last year some where around the age of 80, she was still nursing until the day she died. She stopped wearing heels around 60 years old and I remember them being in a yard sale. She happened to quite the fire cracker. Hello,  my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee!  👠1998 to 2022!

Dawn HH Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Wolgang:-) Lead---don't be a follower. Wear heels every day if you want to, dressed up or not. That's up to you. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!

dr1819 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 WERD^^^^ "Werd," huh? Is that like, "werd up?"
dr1819 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 Been a big dansko fan for a while. I have 4 pair at the moment. Wish they made more of the sandals larger than 42! Clarks makes some nice clogs, and in sizes about 1 larger than Dansko. I have a pair of Clarks clogs with a 2-1/2 heel that feel like they were specifically made for my foot, down to every bone and joint. It's uncanny sliding into them - they're that comfortable. And because they're a rather plain dark brown design, I can wear them with jeans all day long and never get a double-take.
Shafted Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 WERD^^^^ I think Danskos are from another planet. Shafted, the boots that is! dr1819 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Posted August 5, 2006 I think Danskos are from another planet. Really? You don't like the Rayne? (second from the top). Very comfortable, water-proof boot and with a 3-1/4" heel in my size. Great under a pair of jeans - very stealthy!

Great under a pair of jeans - very stealthy! I think I'd like it better without the snap straps, and in a material with more grain and character. Shafted, the boots that is! dr1819 Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 I think the snap straps would get lost beneath the jeans, as would the heel, but I agree that they should offer it in a more rugged leather, such as something unshined.
Dawn HH Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 She stopped wearing heels at the age of 60? Then, I guess that I'm still in the running wearing heels at the age of 71. That makes me feel good. Thanks! You have just made my day. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
