Sally2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 How often do you see a pair of beautiful shoes then decide 2 weeks later you actually want them??? Only to find those lovely New Look heels have walked themselves out of the shop??
Vanity Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Of course, it happens to me all the time. There is something strange about nice stilettos, everyone has the same size. Your size is ALWAYS sold, no matter what size. "Vanity is my life and that's my name." I just love High heels.
Gayle Gold Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Yes, one has to think ahead and envisage what would happen if that were to happen. Best to just get them anyway. Will save your second shopping trip.
Dr. Shoe Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Sometimes you can't afford them firstly and by the time you can they're gone! Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Foot_Fetish Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 I mostly always shop online and they are always available. Although the only thing that I really hate is that there aren't that many size 14's out there.
Adeana Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I agreee with the 'out of size' thing The most depressing thing is when 2 weeks later you finally decide to get them and 'sorry...we don't have that size'. All that effort for nothing! Does anyone ever Email anymore? Send me one! I like to chat!
BlondeBimbo Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 For me it's worse when you see the shoes - fall in love with them, but when you try them on, either the size isn't avalable - as you said - or the size is OK, but they are not comfortable! Nothing worse than a pair of great shoes you can't buy because a strap rubs your little toe, or the shoe is too narrow, or..... too many other reasons! Arhhhh! BB
JohnCinheels Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 lol, i dont know how many times it has happened to me life is short, heels are high, live it up!
Dr. Shoe Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Many years ago Patrick Cox was doing these gorgeous pull-on knee boots with 5" stilettos. I tried a pair on and they fit perfectly but I couldn't afford the £410 price tag at the time. I went back 3 weeks later and they had sold out and the manageress asked why I didn't ask to have them put by! Did I sob? rubberheel Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 When I find a pair of shoes I really like (that fits me), I buy them and talk to the bank later. Of course I can only do that because I live in a heel-hating country. It's so very rare to find nice shoes.
