sscotty727
I was looking around for some new winter shoes/boots and I came across these (Bakers Ginger). They aren't for winter, but could pass very nicely for more discrete heel wearing. What do you all think? Scotty
loveheel
Definitely not my thing. If you want something discreet, why not a nice loafer with a bit of heel. Typically these are under "career" shoes on web sites like Nine West and come in various heel heights. Here is one:
Bubba136
sscotty, I like your pick. I think black or brown would be better than silver, though. You can easily wear them with a pair of jeans or dockers. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public. sscotty727
I agree, I think the page automatically comes with Silver. I was thinking black or brown.
Mickey S.
Yes, once you change to black or brown in the color's pull down menu the image changes accordingly. Anyway, there's just one drawback to it: It comes only in up to size 10 (and won't probably ship outside the U.S.). CU! -Mike
TXT-1
the size 10 thing is a BIG problem, as I am A US womens 13 and I don't go into regular shoe shops just to get heels and even if they came in my size, the styles are horrible!, I don't want "Murder Weapon" style toes! as for those silver "things" I'd prefer the riddacule of my former "avatars" than those things! sorry but they just aren't my thing, even in the more "subdued" colours. later, TXT-
loveheel
Bakers stores will occasionaly have up to size 11, but that's it.
sscotty727
Here is another pair I used to wear at work. No one ever said a thing and under long pants they look normal. Unfortunately they only go up to a US size 11 (which is my size) but they are pretty comfortable! Scotty You can buy them here
docs41
Those are nice wedges and would be great in black or brown. I have several similar style wedges and have no problem wearing them in public. good luck.... If the shoe fits-buy it!!!!!!
crazyass
The wedges are definetly not me. You should try wearing loafers and pulling your pants over them. :drinking:
