Thighbootguy
I have worn a small hole in the bottom of the toe tip on two pair of thigh boots with 4” stiletto heels. The hole is in the top shoe leather just past the front end of the sole where the shoe joins the sole. It only seems to happen on boots with a pointed toe. I haven’t taken them to a cobbler yet but I don’t see how it could be repaired. It maybe the way I walk in heels, but it’s only on two pair and not the others. Both pair have a softer leather top than my other boots. Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone have a solution or advice? I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned.
Arctic
First thing that comes to mind is that the leather has been stretched too much to fit over the last... How is the general quality of the boots? It's an unfortunate fact that most thigh high boots aren't really made for high mileage, as most never make it out of the bedroom closet... I hope that my German thigh highs that should be in the mail now aren't going to have a flimsy thin sole that wears out very fast... What's all the fuss about? genebujold
Ever since the days when I played pop-warner football (way long ago) then soccer (too long ago) there has always been an advocate for the maintenance and upkeep of shoes: Shoe-Goo There simply is no better replacement to shoe leather or shoe rubber than the original! http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Shoe+Goo&spell=1 Besides, at less than $5 a tube, it's cheap! http://store.yahoo.net/blankskatesupply/shoegooclear.html
