JayZee Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Not a lot of shoes or high heels, but I think it is a very funny picture Enjoy JayZee "We don't stop playing because we get older - we get older because we stop playing" (with high heels - JayZee)
Bubba136 Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 What would you call these? Wedgies Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
ShockQueen Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 NICE bookends! :drinking: SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
asdf174 Posted June 17, 2004 Posted June 17, 2004 Bookends!?!! I like them. I've seen them jsut classified as wedges before. It's all good. ~Arron.
ShockQueen Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 I dunno....I've seen those clear wedges before, but just never caught my eye. I guess if you're looking for that "floating" type look, then they're cool. Perhaps if the wedge didn't look so clunky on the bottom they might be better. :-) SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
new_look Posted June 18, 2004 Posted June 18, 2004 it does look good for that effect. at the distance itd look like a high heel, without a heel. lol
Bubba136 Posted June 19, 2004 Posted June 19, 2004 Yeah, SQ! And 7" cork platform wedgies make good life preservers, too. Just the thing to wear on that Caribbean cruise this summer. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
J-Nation Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 Yeah, SQ! And 7" cork platform wedgies make good life preservers, too. Just the thing to wear on that Caribbean cruise this summer. Not so good if they make you float feet up and head down! Emma

Bubba136 Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Here's another pair of those strange shoes that showed up in one of the other threads. It appears they are becoming more popular out on the west coast of the U.S., particularly in California.
