Just new here to the post. Will be posting lots here soon. Can someone tell me why many of the pics are not opening here? Is it my computer or the server? HELP!

well it could be your computer and it could be the server, cause sometimes i login and the pics don`t show and othertimes they do, happend just the other day. but if it is happening all the time check your internet settings, under internet options in the tools menu in internet explorer look under the advanced tad an check that it is set to "show pictures" in the "multimedia" part of the list on the advanced tab. failing this update your version of internet explorer. hope this helps you out. later nhoj62

Err... Not everybody is using Windoze, and not everyone that does use Windoze uses the Infernal Exploder as their browser. :D One possible explanation for not being able to see a certain picture could be, that that picture no longer exists at the location where it could be found when the post was made (and to which location the post is till pointing to). Another possible explanation is, that the picture is located on a server from (for example) Yahoo! Geocities. They don't allow looking at pictures from outside their own websites (no "hotlinking" or "deeplinking" allowed).

You are the king! That fixed the problem. All pics load under www.hhplace.org, whereas they don't under hhplace.org. Thanks again. P.S. Maybe you should get a job with Microsoft? They couldn't even answer my question. Cheers :drinking:

Ah, that explains it! Many of the pictures on this forum are stored on bpalmatv's server at http://65.160.96.70/hhplace .

And that server has a restriction: it checks if you are viewing that picture from a page on www.hhplace.org . So it doesn't seem to check for hhplace.org :D
