Ah...I am more with you now. Or more awake at any rate.  Yes, I am certainly familiar with Fanfare for The Common Man - I just hadn't realised Emerson, Lake and Palmer were the ones behind it.

Indeed, but his response was rather drastic. He still had much to offer - teaching, writing, mentor, playing role of elder statesman etc. It just seems so rash...at least looking at it from the outside. Who knows what his inner demons were
