This might be for the Brits, but all help gratefully received.

I tried to install BBC iplayer downloader.  All going peachy, then I had to choose an application that could open the downloads.  I tried a few, but the only one it would let me use was Microsoft Office 365 Somethingorother. Now I can't download BBC stuff, because all I get is the Microsoft store.  It said I could change it with Firefox Prefences, but I can't find them.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it's just the same.  I thought Gates was a decent chap, but I feel quite violated by this.  I just want to watch some TV programmes.  Can anyone help?

Hmmm. I downloaded the BBC iPlayer app on my iPad and it works a treat. not sure why you had to download anything else to open things on it...
