JaBe Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Hi everyone, Because I'm new to this board I'd like to share some pictures with you of my favourite shoes. I've seen lot's of yours, so here are mine: Size 41 EU heel height: 3 inches http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=320bcef2-3d7b-6ebc-5eaf-64182e9947a2&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=2d605580-5ab5-1e01-6fe4-4e8c29c517bb&size=lg Size 41 EU heel height: 3,5 inches http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=58de36cb-30d7-6622-38b8-4c073255485a&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=3709713f-d00e-6938-c227-5a123b0f20df&size=lg Size 41 EU heel height: 2,5 inches (My most comfortable shoes) http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=39085be0-7efd-4077-677b-1b5049bc30a9&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=7cc64079-2649-68f5-2656-7eb2c4346f38&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=848b1d88-5f42-4e56-2cc9-752f6bb96810&size=lg Size 41 EU heel height: 3,5 inches (My most elegant pair of shoes) http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=73de182e-2238-c640-1da1-499b5e193bb5&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=26725450-30cf-6002-6981-79b030f54257&size=lg http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=73bee90a-3f34-17ad-5d74-11e02582367e&size=lg All these shoes are size 41 EU. Strange enough, if I buy a pair of men shoes, I need 1 size bigger. Has anyone experienced this too? Well, that's all for now.
Bubba136 Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Gosh, JaBe, if you are anywhere near Brussels perhaps you and HighLuc could get together. He's a very respected member of this forum and I'm sure any time spent with him would be enjoyable. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
JaBe Posted January 30, 2004 Author Posted January 30, 2004 Actually yes, I'm a great "office shoe" fan. Although I'm thinking of stilleto's some day, but I started wearing these shoes now for a year or so, they are great to start of with and get used to the heel. Meeting HighLuc isn't a bad idea at all Bubba. I love to hear and read about other people's stories. Heels are a part of me now. I've tried to ignore them, no good. I'll keep on wearing them and feel jolly good!! Even though I have to take one more hurdle. Tell my wife.
Robert Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Hi JaBe. I like "office shoes" too. There are more office shoe fans here, look in this thread http://www.hhplace.org/hhboard/viewtopic.php?t=1968 Robert Boots, fascinating footwear http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i103/Boots_1956/
new_look Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 i agree with sizes. im mens 9 but all womens 8's are fine
PJ Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 JaBe; Glad to see pictures from lower high heel lovers. They appear to be of high quality from what I can tell. I especially love those square toe boxes on some of your shoes. As for the problem comparing men's sizes to woman's sizes, in my case, I find just the opposite of what you experienced. I wear a size 10 USA men's shoe and a size 11 USA women's shoe. click .... click .... click .... The sensual sound of stiletto heels on a hard surface.
new_look Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 the us sizes are supposedly a couple of sizes out in comparison arent they. the uk sizes are supposedly the same regrdless of gender
JaBe Posted January 31, 2004 Author Posted January 31, 2004 My EU size men is 42 My EU size women is 41 My UK size men is 8 My UK size women is 7 - 7,5 About the US sizes I don't know. Haven't bought any shoes from the US yet. But looking at sizecharts, I'll need a 10 US for women shoes, and yes I know for a mens shoe I"ll need 1,5 size bigger, + maybe the difference I experienced with EU and UK sizes.
