PatsyCline Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 In keeping with my Carrie LaChance theme, I found this photo today. For those of you not familar with Major League Baseball. Cy Young holds the record for most wins by a pitcher. The award for best pitcher of the year is named after him. "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
Shafted Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Okay, I admit it. Carrie could rekindle my interest in baseball. If she was pitching to me it would be a guaranteed strike out. PatsyCline Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 I'm getting tempted to take out a membership to her site, or Arch Enemy's. If I show this to DH, I think he will insist I get a pair. I'm not sure if I could walk in a pair of those! "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
Shafted Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I'm not sure if I could walk in a pair of those! Not knowing your husband, this may be his intent. Shafted, the boots that is! PatsyCline Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 Ha, ha. You could be right. Might become my first pair of 'bedroom shoes'. I definitely wouldn't be able to run away! Carrie walks so well in 6" heels, I'm impressed. "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
AZShoeNut Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 My gooodness those are high. I do not believe that I would get very far in a pair of those. Great picture, however. Thanks. Life is short... Wear the bleeping shoes!
killer heels Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Totally....her fee t are almost vertical in those! Definitely bedroom heels!!
PatsyCline Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 Carrie is staring into the catcher, waiting for the sign. What will it be, low & outside, or high & inside, a little sweet chin music? "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
Shafted Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 She needs a bit more oil on her upper arm, although it was likely intentional so as not to stain her clothing. Shafted, the boots that is! PatsyCline Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 Actually I find the oil distracting. I love her look. That icy stare. "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
Shafted Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Actually I find the oil distracting. I love her look. That icy stare. I only said that for the sake of consistency. It doesn't matter if she is oiled or not The evenness of skin tone and sheen in my opinions is what matters. The image needs a little retouching to even out the skin tone and sheen. Did I mention that I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it come to photography. lol FYI: I too would prefer the oil to be left out. If its trying to simulate sweat, it just doesn't lay on the skin the same way as sweat. Shafted, the boots that is! nyenor Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I'm no baseball expert but it looks to me as if she is standing at home plate not on the pitching mound. Sorry. I did not see the earlier picture where she does indeed appear to be 'on the mound'

I did not see the earlier picture where she does indeed appear to be 'on the mound' I believe you are correct. There are several photos in the set that show her at the pitcher's mound. I assume they were just moving around the baseball diamond taking photos. "Porsche...There is no Substitute"
