Heelster Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Very very interesting. Will he have an affect on mens fashion - - - Maybe - - In a limited way. Those who accept it, yes. Very positive, but for most men, and definitly those with whom I have to interact with - - - not at all.
Dr. Shoe Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Can you imagine some redneck working as a mechanic in a small town in the Ozarks dressing like that? No, me neither. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.

FreshinHeels Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 even the smallest stone causes a ripple in the pond In the process of becoming the person I always was...but didn't dare to let her come out
Shafted Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 even the smallest stone causes a ripple in the pond Exactly! It only takes one person to make a difference. Shafted, the boots that is! Heelster Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Exactly! It only takes one person to make a difference. - - and Andrej Pejic has the potential to do just that, but it will take a lot more than one person such as Andrej.
Shafted Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 - - and Andrej Pejic has the potential to do just that, but it will take a lot more than one person such as Andrej. Well there are quite a few androgynous male models out there now. Shafted, the boots that is! Heelster Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Well there are quite a few androgynous male models out there now. True - It's not so much how many, but who actually will see them. Until someone like a pro football, Nascar, or another famous male entity that is considered masculine starts showing up wearing fashions that are not US male mainstream, I don't see a potential for change in the mens fashion world. Guys like Lenny kravits and Prince are not going to have the affect we might think it will. You want change in the US male fashion industry, just imagine Tim Tebow, Dale Earnhart Jr. and Lebron James showing up more than once in skinny jeans and a wedge or block heel - - - that will get attention more than a runway model. The typical US male doesn't care about runway models unless it's the Victoria Secret show.
newheeler Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I agree, on the other hand i don't see everyday's women wearing those clothes either they do on those runways. Don't worry, be happy - in heels!
