I am told by a friend that I should wrap my feet before trying to walk in ballet boots to keep from injuring my feet. I've gone through numerous google searches and the closest I found was a Plantar Fasciitis wrap but I'm thinking the wrap for ballet boots would have to be more supportive of the entire foot. Does anyone have any resources or can tell me how to effectively wrap my feet? Thanks! :wavey:

What you looking for is known as the Ace Bandage. It is a long strip of material with two metal grabby hook things to secure it. It is commonly used by professional athletes for extra support for things such a ankles, knees or wearever a body joint needs extra support. You've probably already seen the Ace Bandage on some pro football players. There are different type of support bandages from Ace, but the one I described is the classic Ace bandage. Oh and welcome to HHPlace.

I more need to know how, though. I have Ace bandage but the way it sounded there was a specific way to wrap to support the bones. I could be wrong but I want to be sure. The super is fairly important because I have a bone that was previously broken that needs the added support.

I can't help you as far as the proper wrapping technique for ballet heels. But if your patient there is a good chance that some of our seasoned ballet wearers can help you out.

Wrapping is a technique that professional dancers use to hold their feet in place when they're dancing en-pointe. You don't need to do so in ballet boots because the they are made from leather (or PU) unlike the soft satin of ballet shoes.

Sweet! I don't know if there are any in Montana but it can't hurt to ask around. And I know there is at least one ballet studio here in town.
