I decided today that I'm going to buy some thigh high ballet boots (black of course) in the near future (next month or so). Just thought I'd share.

Very cool. Take your time if you try walking in them. They are diferent then any other heels when standing or walking.

Please let us know how you enjoy them when you do purchase and wear them. I have never owned or worn ballet boots so I'm anxious to hear from someone else who has never worn them and then wears them for the first time.

The story so far: I can't remember when I first saw ballet boots or how long I've been having thoughts about buying a pair. About a week ago, three things happened at around the same time: - I was having a thought about buying ballet boots. - I was asked to work some paid overtime. - My housemates (who don't know I heel) said they were going away for two weeks. Meaning I would have the money and an opportunity to wear them extensively as soon as I got them. I was unsure if I should get knee high or thigh high, but after a read of this forum agreed with the opinion, if you are going to buy ballet boots, go all out and get thigh high. I worked the overtime in the last few days, now I just need to wait for the pay and I can order my boots.

I wish you a lot of success with it! Myself I've been ballet-booting for some time. I even danced in them, yet I stopped later. I just had no time...
