Julietta Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 I was just sent this by email and thought I'd post it here as it has a huge possitive message without the big guilt trip at the end. Also I wanted to post it here as you guys have helped me get through the worse period of my life by just being here and letting me air off and basically I just wanted to say Thank you X FACTS OF LIFE 1. At least 5 people in this world, love you so much they would die for you. 2. At least 15 people in this world love you, in some way. 3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you, is because they want to be just like you. 4. A smile from you, can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you. 5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep. 6.You mean the world to someone. 7. Without you, someone may not be living. 8. You are special and unique, in your own way. 9. Someone that you don't know even exists, loves you. 10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. 11. When you think the world has turned it's back on you, take a look, you most likely turned your back on the world. 12. When you think you have no chance at getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, you probably sooner or later will get it. 13. Always remember complements you received, forget about the rude remarks. 14. Always tell someone how you feel, then they'll know. 15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they're great. 16. You must be a great friend, because someone gave this too you. If you care about them, send it back. **SEND THIS LETTER TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CARE ABOUT, YOU WON'T GET ANY GOOD LUCK, AND YOUR CRUSH WON'T SUDDENLY LIKE YOU, BUT YOU'LL BRIGHTEN UP SOMEONE'S DAY, AND MIGHT CHANGE THEIR PERSPECTIVE Let calm be widespread May the sea glisten like greenstone And the shimmer of summer Dance across your pathway "Communication is a two way thing"
JeffM Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 Its enough to make the hair on my neck stand up and a tear to form in my eye. Truely beautiful Julie, thanks for sharing it with us. And I'm sending of to my friends right now. Jeff
azraelle Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Well.....It certainly made MY day. Thanks Julie. I will post it to a Canadian Atkins forum, if you don't mind http://forum.lowcarber.org/). "All that you can decide, is what to do with the time that is given you."--Gandalf, "Life is not tried, it is merely survived -If you're standing outside the fire."--Garth Brooks
BobHH Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Thanks, but after the loss of my lovely wife, I can't believe it all applies to me.
Firefox Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 I've seen quite a few like this. They're always quite nice and usually have a lot of truth... and they always have a little mesage at the end which says "Please email this to as any people as possible" There must be a moral in that somewhere
J-Nation Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 I'm usually quite cynical too, but the last line "SEND THIS LETTER TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CARE ABOUT, YOU WON'T GET ANY GOOD LUCK, AND YOUR CRUSH WON'T SUDDENLY LIKE YOU, BUT YOU'LL BRIGHTEN UP SOMEONE'S DAY, AND MIGHT CHANGE THEIR PERSPECTIVE" is a bit more realistic than the usual! Emma
Yamyam Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 Thanks for that, Julietta! I know I know all of this, but it's nice to be reminded sometimes. I agree with FF, it's easy to get cynical with these 'sent to everyone you know' things, but sometimes I forward those on to a few special people. I have something like 400 contacts in my email systems, both work and private, so sending to everyone I know would take more time than I have, I think Obsessed is such a strong word. I prefer to think of myself as "differently enthusiastic"
Heelfan Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 Hello Julietta! Thank you for sharing that message with us, and saying nice things to us all! Two questions for you: In the recent past you were posting some WONDERFUL reports and pics of you graduating up to 5" heels and talking about going higher still. Can you update us on that and continue the series? Secondly, any chance of you accompanying Yamyam to our London Heel-Meet this coming Saturday 4th October (see under "Real Life Meetings and Fun Shopping Etc.")? Dr. Shoe is bringing Ruth, and I hope there may be one or two other gals as well. Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
