jemanda Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 I have seen these advertised at quite a few sites, has anybody tried them before?
missbunny Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 I thought they were pretty cool so I ordered a pair. They are very wobbly and unstable and I don't wear them except for photos because I'm worried they'll break. They look hot though. lol scary xoxox
jemanda Posted August 24, 2003 Author Posted August 24, 2003 The impression I got when I first saw pics of them was that they sure look unstable, kind of like high heel ice skates, are they heavy at all?? Maybe they could be used as weights of body building shoes.
Alex Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 More than your ankle probably I wish I was a size 10
missbunny Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 they are actualy pretty light. the metal part bends, it's not rigid like it should be. xox
PJ Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 I prefer my high heels pumps to have stiletto heels. Although missbunny has already offered testimony that they are unstable, just be looking at them gives me the same impression. Be carefull missbunny. click .... click .... click .... The sensual sound of stiletto heels on a hard surface.
dimpantyhose Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Personnally, I really don't like the design of those heels...Too "mecano's" style in my point of view!
Bubba136 Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Miss Bunny, what convinced you to purchase a pair of shoes like those? Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
mk4625 Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I saw a photo of a man being trampled by a woman wearing those metal shoes. I was a little disappointed when I noticed that there were flat skids under the knives. Michael
jemanda Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 Found a pic which gives a better sort of veiw of these metal monstrosities...
Dr. Shoe Posted August 28, 2003 Posted August 28, 2003 I've got a pair myself. They're surprisingly easy to walk in, if you can manage platforms with a high pitch then you should be able to manage these. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Platform_baby Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 I can vouch for their instability. You can overcome the wabble by walking more on the balls of the feet. They also run very small. Oh one more thing, the have a metal squeek since they are rivited together. Since I mostly sit in my old age, they are effective positing shoes! (I wouldnt go-go dance in them for my life)
