Well, after being off work for 13 weeks, I am finally working again. I am still in retail (which I was hoping to get away from), but I am now the store bookkeeper for a new store location opening up here in town. I am excited, and glad to be working again. It takes a great load off my shoulders, and my family is happy as well, because I was quite depressed for a little while. I just wanted to share this news, because I am excited. Thanks for listening.

I am truly happy for you. Two friends of mine who were laid off in our department and still looking for work after sixteen months. Congratulations and good luck.

It's always good to hear of people getting back into work whether it's due to being laid off or due to long term ill health. Restoration of self esteem imminent Al

Having retired ten years ago, I am pleased to say I don't have that worry any more. I do however congratulate you on getting a job. even if not quite what you want. I always believe that it's easier to get work when you have a job than when you have not. I you can choose to look around, and still have some pennies coming in. Good luck to all you others still looking. Muddypaws.
