goldwings
I recently got some boot trees for my thigh boots, and those only go up just above the knee or so. Anyone else use boot trees for their thigh boots - or are there longer boot trees designed for thigh boots?
Dr. Shoe
I use rolled up corrugated cardboard then white cloth stuffed in the top. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
pussyinboots
I have the same problem. I use boot trees for all my other boots but for a long time I couldn't find any long enough for my thighboots. I was lucky to find some expandable, sculpted boot trees in a store here in the UK, so for a while I used 2 standard trees in my thighboots, one on top of the other. However, since then I have found THIS place, which supplies trees for thigh length boots: http://www.ctreesboottrees.com/ You could also look at these, which are inflatable boot shapers: http://www.shoebuy.com/booty-shapers-jy2219-extra-large/257604 "Good Girls keep diaries....Bad Girls just don't have the time...!:icon_twisted:"
roniheels
Yes. I use those swimming pool divider/marker floats (I cut them to length) and they work great. I buy them at the dollar store.
Dr. Shoe
Hahahaha! That just shows the difference in culture either side of the pond. Here in the UK you need to go to a specialist business that supplies pool equipment to buy the floating markers, in the US you can buy them in their equivalent of a pound shop!
