What to wear while wearing heels in public?

Clothing that co-ordinates with the style of heels would definitely be a good place to start. If they are dressy heels, put together a dressy-type outfit - experiement and have fun with your choices, but remember it's all about putting together the complete package. If the heels go with the outfit, and you like what you see in the mirror, then you're golden. Even check out some fashion mags, and look at the heels you like on websites to see what others are wearing them with. There are endless possibilities, but as long as you are confident, and have put together something that looks good, then you'll come out a winner. I'm sorry if that's not much of a help, but it's hard to put a hard-and-fast rule as to what to wear with your choice of heels. Enjoy!

Hi Heelman, ShockQueen has good advice. I believe the most important thing is confidence. You must be comfortable with your image to start with - in order to get out there and make the first steps. Thereafter as you get more comfortable with being seen this way your confidence will rapidly grow, and so will your enjoyment of your heels. There is such a vast range of options of clothing and looks to go for I would not want to suggest anything specific since everyone is unique in terms of what they like, and would be comfortable with. Good luck! Heel-Lover

It depends on what you want to achieve or do as well. If you want to wear heels but keep the looks down to a minimum then long hemmed trousers or jeans that hides most of the heel. If you want or don't mind being noticed then shorter legs would look better. If you don't care in the slightest and you are a complete showoff then wear your boots outside your trousers but for this look tight or slimfit jeans are the best.

When you think about it, men have worn tall boots over their pants or breeches from the 17th century (if not earlier) through the late 19th. And they wore heels too. So when anyone asks you about tucking your tall boots outside of your jeans, just them you're real "old school"

Bootking:-) There certainly is no way of hiding just what you are up to when wearng tall white stiletto heeled boots outside of your pants like that. It is a good look on you and can be seen a mile away. Cheers--- Dawn HH
