I went to my eye doctor yesterday, and while out and about, I thought about what all I put on that day, and had to smile. Flare jeans - from Lane Bryant Betty Boop t-shirt - from Wal-Mart ladies' plus-size department Silver Tokyo Disneyland windbreaker jacket No-Nonsense knee-highs - well, we know which department OPI polish Large fun 80's earrings Skye platform boots from Avenue Dark brown handbag from Target (I can't resist a clearance sale) No, I was not trying to appear as anything else but myself, but just realizing where I had gotten everything from. Apart from skivvies, NOTHING else I wore out came from the "men's" department. It was the best feeling - like low-key androgyny, although being naturally 6'4" and walking about in 4" platform boots and bright nail polish probably isn't the most low-key thing imaginable, but hey.....no one said anything, so I felt wonderful.

SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!

Bravo to you on your outfit. Sounds like you were exhibiting a delightful sense of style. More power to you!

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

A great sense of style indeed. Maybe the next time you should wear "skivies" from the female side of the store to make your outfit completely female on a male figure. Cheers--- Dawn HH
