defwax2 Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I own a shop selling high heels and i get customers who are men trying them on for themselves. In a time where people dress how they want, it isn't much of a shock value nowdays as long as there happy doing what there doing who's to augue.
euchrid Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 cool. so where's your shop? is it 'high street' footwear (e.g. Clarks, Marks & Sparks, Next), younger fashion stuff (River Island, New Look) or more specialist/exclusive/expensive/fetish interest? (Louboutin, Nine West?) Always High-Heel Responsibly
jmc Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 <mod mode> We have a "Shoe wholesale / retail / Internet stores" forum and you may post a thread there to mention your shop. Please restrict all explicit mentions of commercial interests to that forum. I'm not saying you are stepping over a line. I'm just clarifying where the line is. </mod mode> Have a happy time!
CassieJ Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Can you tell us more? What percentage of your customers buying women's shoes are men? Do you hear the same from other shoe retailers. Have you heard any discussions within the industry about it? Thanks for joining us here. Cassie - http://www.fetishforhighheels.com

However, perhaps you migh just like to give this new member a chance. Note he didn't push the name of this shop, location or website. He didn't come onto the board with a hard sell - quite the opposite in fact as having been asked, he has not provided the information. It appears to me that here is a guy with a genuine interest in high heels - like us - and that it just happens to be his day job - and as there is another thread on that matter it would seem he is one lucky guy. I'm sure that if he wants to promote his shop to members, he will do so in the right place. Simon. Are you confusing me with someone who gives a damn?
Dawn HH Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 The way things are worded here sure perks up the curiosity in ones mind, doesn't it? Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
maleinheels Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 My GF takes me shoe shopping although we both know it is socially unacceptable in our part of the world. And 99% of the time they aren't going to have my size (13 USA). But we look for that uptight female associate and my GF will have a pair of shoes she likes in her hands and ask the sales girl about them. What size do you take she will ask her. A 13 is the reply, of course the sales girl has to look down at my GF feet and stare. Are you sure you take a 13? Oh they are not for me, they are for him. The look on her face is priceless.
Guest Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 well maleinheels, since I have a small mens foots @ 7 inches that means I can wear womens size 9 ( in most cases, sometimes 9'half depending on the style) I almost have never got a strange look form the salesperson! (other people around me, well I :smile:could care less)
jwhite44 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 My GF takes me shoe shopping... Are you really able to do that much shopping in stores? Except for Payless and Avenue, I haven't found any other stores that carry size 13.
