I have always adored high heels and am lucky that my partner has a vast collection although sadly as she gets older her feet seem to suffer which means she wears them only when she can bear the pain!! I have suggested she wears 3" or at least try them rather than her 4" and 5" models. The funny thing is she still buys lots of high heels just because she can't resist them!! Perhaps she would be understanding and helpful if you did since she has such enthusiasm for them. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
