grungir Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I just missed them. And they were in my size too, although I'm not sure the tops would have fit around my thighs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=320357531566 They show a surprising amount of wear too. Does this mean that someone else managed to don them for an extended period of time?
Dr. Shoe Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 That is a lot of money for PVC boots... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Bubba136 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 They show a surprising amount of wear too. Does this mean that someone else managed to don them for an extended period of time? It's a good bet that is what seeing a lot of "wear" means. They are by no means "new." As is the case with a lot of pair of "catwalk" shoes, they're usually worn by more than once or by more than one model during a fashion show. And it's likely that since they are a very specialized type/style, they probably are costume props used in more than a few fashion shows. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
jo Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 *** Antonio Berardi Runway FW 0809 PVC thigh-high back zipper heel-less boots *** Genuine sale, or not? The seller, having handled them, would know they were made with latex rubber, and not PVC, no?
