William Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I've been wearing chunky soled shoes for a long time, things like Doc Martins, etc. Seems to me that lately, all men's casual shoes have no height whatsoever. And, there's a ton of really ugly shoes on the market. I want something that gives me an inch or two in a men's style shoe. Not too expensive either. Any thoughts?
Dr. Shoe Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Only cowboy boots I'm afraid... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
Histiletto Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Take your shoes to the local shoe shop and have them add some height to the heel of your shoes. Otherwise, check out the internet for some women's penny loafers. They may have the height you are looking for and still qualify as menswear. Be sure to coordinated the sizing you need.
dww Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I would advise some ankle boots with a small block heel say 2-2 and a half inches in height, helped me a lot, to women I have found it does not matter if you are wearing 2 inch heels or four inch heels, to them you are wearing heels and that is that. life is not a rehearsal
