vestraub Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Any news about "The Little Shoe Box" reopening or someone buying their equipment and starting it up again? Any word about anyone else who makes their shoes as well? I don't like Imagine/Leatherworks as their insteps are always not steep enough and they are always using a 2 inch platform with their 7 inch heels and not a 1.5 inch platform like LSB used to. It is a slight difference but it make s a diffference to me. Any news would be appreciated. Thank you.
Dr. Shoe Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 TLSB closed about 3 years ago... if it hasn't happened yet then it won't, sorry... Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
vestraub Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 I knew that they had closed long ago. Just thought I would see if anyone had heard anything lately.
Bubba136 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Seems like I heard (or got the impression) that Cos at Burlesqueblue either used to work for LSB or took over the business or is continuing on making their styles. Can someone let us know? I just purchased a pair of pumps from BB and they remind me a great deal of shoes made by LSB. They're nice shoes. Good quality, very nicely made and at a very reasonable price. I will, perhaps, later this year, order another pair from him. Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
