Dr. Shoe Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 One Idea that I had whilst in the bath: Why not a number of simultaneous meets? Or 2 at the very least... One in North America and one in Europe? Of course folk from this side of the pond could go over there and vice versa... Discuss? Firefox Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I suppose if we did one in Europe as we did in 2001/2/3 it would go back to being a "Euroheel" meet which we did with some success, but the numbers were more like 10-15 people rather than 20-30. Whichever spin you put on it, they're going to involve travel, shopping, and eating out, all of which cost £/$/E.
Arctic Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Not a bad idea at all. The saved intercontinental travel time makes it a sensible proposal to me. What's all the fuss about?
