Cali & Shyheels : Interesting story and analogy. I have had similar suspicions (thoughts) for many years. Men have approached me to talk about my heels, oftentimes wanting to take pictures. Years ago, an acquaintance told me the belief was that for every single (1) known transvestite there was another ten (10) we did not know about. Shyheels: There you go. You are living in the wrong part of the world. If you lived here - Columbus, Ohio - You would see this guy (Me) wearing high stiletto heel boots from Fall to Spring. Crotch high and Knee-high boots. Minimum 5" heels. Tis a pity. Mike

If our HHPlace members, (we) ever get back to what were once known as HH meets - We could make it happen. You may consider the colors of white-black-maroon-blue boots as well. Heelers : Here I go. I do not believe anyone is going to agree with this. I would never wear the shoes shown in this ad. What kind of a turnaround do you guys think will be achieved here? The men in western movies wear cowboy boots with higher heels than this crap. Do any of you think John Wayne would prance around in these shoes. Cowboy boots haven't encouraged people to wear higher heeled shoes over the last/past one hundred (100) years. Just wear what you like and move on.  Mike

Heelers : OK let's get straight here. There is NO such thing as to many pairs of high heels. I now have 120 pair of high heels with 5" heels or higher. On 1-22-2023 Sunday I ordered a pair of pumps=court shoes, in nude color. As the saying goes " If the shoe fits buy them in every color" so I did.  Mike

tina : I do not have heels like these (shown in your photo) but I like them. Cannot understand JKrenzer saying your new high heels are ugly. If it is the platform, he dislikes we all should look at models who are displaying platforms that are eight inches or higher. This forum is called -- High Heel Place -- so high heels should be the sole subject of our interest. Why doesn't - Tech - limit members of this membership to people who only wear 4" heels and higher. This crap about people buying NEW shoes with only a 2" heel is crap. Mike

VirginHeels: Let's look at this concert thing from the top. Are you talking about Rap?- Which is the opposite of music. Are you talking about a sort of Flashmob? How about the Electric Light Orchestra? I have been to concert venues and never had to stand. The one time where there were no chairs, I was with my wife, and we were both in 5" stilettos for hours. If you are a lover of high heels - Then it sounds like you need practice standing. Go to the concert and try not to whimp out. Mike

m1super90 : I have to admit that is one hell of an instep extension. I do not have that kind of instep, which is the only reason I don't wear ballets every day. However, I do go as high as I can. Mike

Cali : I have had considerable good luck purchasing high heel booth from ( onlymaker). However, thinking back on it I am not so sure if onlymaker has over the knee boots. I Just know I have a lot of their high heel shoes.  Shoebidoo and Giaro for sure. Mike

Heelers : I couldn't see anything wrong with Mr. Bryans comments. I have no dough that we all have had unflattering comments shouted at us all. People of the gay community may have suffered worse afflictions hurled at them. Gay bashing. Family's may have rejected a family member because of their interests. Heelers : Here I am getting back to the basic topic. Yesterday (10-20-2022) I went to an event called The Circleville Pumpkin Show. OHIO. I went with a neighbor and her three (3) year old son. I knew the day would be long, so I wore comfortable shoes, lace-up oxfords 5 1/4" high heels by Ellie. There is no way of knowing how many miles we walked. What I cannot believe is no one threw rocks or stones at me. Fair size country town. Surprisingly I did receive mutable complements, mostly from young girls. Never thought to have April take pictures. For sure a fun day. The oxfords looked much like these. Mike

Heelers :  I thought we covered this subject some time ago. Alas, I no longer have anyone to restrict my interest in wearing high stiletto heels. I put on my standard 5" high heel, boots or pumps in the morning and take them off at bedtime. May change heels when I go to the store-theater-doctor's office etc. but that is it.  Keep your heels and standerds high. Mike

Heelers : I have to agree with many of your comments and thoughts about the job or position for which you are applying. Let's take a look from another viewpoint. Maybe the interviewer also is a high heeler like JKrenzer, how do you think you would fare with that scenario? OR you may be applying for a shoe sales job. How about location - The Midwest can be a tuff sell but not along the west coast where people a lot more progressive. Who amoung us are qualified to be the CEO of GM? High heels or not. Mike
