One suggestion: you may want to get down on the floor when photographing shoes.

That doesn't apply in my case. I wear a men's 10.5 while in most cases a women's size 11 pump fits fine.

I try to wear them for a few hours every evening.

Yes it does, especially at the very beginning with Cameron Diaz in those black stilettos.

I like a little toe cleavage. The Pleaser 8220 pump is a good example. I also love it when the heel pops out of the back of the shoe with each step. However, I have seen some women wear pumps that are so loose that they flip-flop with each step, and that to me is a bit too much.

Laurieheels began posting in January of 2002. Her last post was in February of 2005. Oddly enough, she exited very quietly without saying good-bye while some time earlier, she announced she was taking a hiatus and subsequently returned.

At least we know she's still alive and well (and wearing heels, of course). Maybe someday she'll return to this forum. In the meantime, let's wish her well. I know I do.

There was a photo yesterday in the news section of yahoo.com featuring the wives and girlfriends at the golf course, several of whom were wearing pumps.

IMHO she looks pretty damn good in those black pumps and they look mighty good on her. I wonder if she's into dipping/dangling.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind having a lady challenge me to wear heels. It would be interesting to see what her reaction would be when I actually take her up on it! Either she'll be cool with it or she'll turn and run.

If the photo tease for Studio 60 is any indication, Amanda Peet may be wearing heels in that show. She's sporting black 5" stilettos in the photo that appeared in this week's TV Dial.

I've said it before and it bears repeating here: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. I sometimes wonder how many times this scenario has occurred: a guy lets it be known to his g/f or s/o that he would love to see her wear heels, with little success. He keeps at it, then finally the g/f comes back with, "If you like them so much, why don't YOU wear them?"

They're out there for sure. I see them once in a while. It makes me think of that receptionist we used to have at work who regularly wore high heels. There's this lady that I see often in church who frequently wears black pumps.

My jaw just dropped to the floor. Positively stunning.

I saw a young lady in black 4.5" stilettos at Target today. Haven't seen heels that high since that lady at the steak house who dangled her shoe under the table.
