  1. Wow, thats a cool story and an amazing outfit! I've also been out a number of times wearing lycra or wetlook shiny leggings but all apart from once it's just been with trainers (very boring). The one time I wore knee length boots with them, they were plain, low wedge heel black boots. I passed a few people but no one noticed! I think I should wear my stilletos next time! Keep it up!
  2. Hi fog, I'm sure we met at a heel meet back in the distant past! I've started being a bit more active on this board and hoping to re-establish some old conversations! Cheers Nikki

  3. They are a pair of matt plack pvc stilletos with a 5 inch heel. I wore them to the Torture Garden in London on New Years eve and had unsuprisingly sore feet at the end of the evening! Great fun wearing them though!

  4. Thank you for the lovely note Nikki. What style of Boots did you buy? David & Cathy

  5. Hi - thanks for this! I haven't checked in here for ages. I've seen your pictures and really love the thigh boots (even bought myself a pair finally). Thanks Nikki

  6. I've voted 'possible' as I haven't been to a heel meet for at least 4 years, and am more open about wearing heels since then! Nik
  7. I bought a fabulous pair of dark blue skinny leg jeans the other week - they are high waisted and have a lacing up the back. there are a similar pair on sale here: (if I got the link right) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WOMENS-DARK-BLUE-DENIM-HIGH-WAISTED-SKINNY-FIT-JEANS-10_W0QQitemZ130255709838QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item130255709838&_trkparms=72%3A1295%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 I've worn them out a couple of times now - once with my black knee length boots (only a low wedge heel) over the top and a short jacket that just covered the high waist- it's a look I strongly recommend!! No -one really batted an eyelid either, must wear that combination again soon.
  8. This is so true! I've been mixing it up for about the past two years and it certainly feels good to wear (almost) what I like. I think that the majority of my trousers come from the womens side of the shop as I find they fit better and more importantly I think they look and feel great! A good example was when we went on holiday and I wore a pair of shiny PVC trousers, but teamed them up with a pale green tight long sleeved t-shirt and a black v necked jumper - it softened the whole image, and if people stunned and confused - good for them!! I've only worn a skirt out a night but aim to correct that soon. Right, where's my catsuit!! Nikki
  9. D'oh - I wish I'd got my internet connection up a few days earlier and seen this, I would probably have come along too (the last heel meet I came to must have been over two years ago now). Oh well next time....!
  10. Thought I would say hi too! I haven't posted in ages but am still going out in heels - more often now in fact. Must post more often and post some of my pics soon too! Still kicking myself that I missed the "world heel meet" - oh well there's always this year! Nik
  11. I saw a street heeler in my home town on Saturday morning wearing a pair of rather fine looking 5.5 inch chunky heel Raid ankle boots with long trousers and a short leather jacket. (it was me!! Will post some pictures of me wearing those boots when I fix my camera)
  12. going back a few posts, I know - but I bought a pair of flare nixie jeans from ebay a month ago or so, and I found them to be quite small. They were meant to be size 10 but I'm sure they are smaller. I've worn female cut jeans (and my denim catsuit) out loads of times and I don't think anyone has really noticed that they are cut differently (or have no pockets) as most people just see denim and don't think about the fact that they are tighter around the thighs and bum!
  13. Hi, haven't posted recently but thought it was about timeto make my contribution to this freestyle fashion thread: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lcy01/detail?.dir=b9ea&.dnm=d9a1re2.jpg The boots only have a 1.5" wedge heel but I do like them! I have't yet been out wearing this as it does push the boat - maybe on the weekend though! I'll post some pics of my pointy boots sometime soon as well. Nik Hope the link works...
  14. I've just come back from a 10 minute stroll down to the postbox wearing my black knee length leather skirt, tights and black knee length wedge boots and I have to say it was quite fun! I cheated a bit to start by wearing my long greatcoat (as it is starting to get quite cold here) which effectively hid the skirt as it comes down to just over my knees. The boots were on full show though! When I realised that no one was about other than the odd car driving past I undid my coat and wore my skirt with pride! I've been out and about wearing the same boots and tights with denim hotpants and a shorter coat and that didn't provoke many looks when I went shopping. In my opinion wearing a skirt does put across a very different look and it is harder to get a look I am happy with. Oh well, I guess I have to do some more shopping for clothes and boots, and go out more!! Nik
  15. OK - I've uploaded the photo. Fingers crossed this should work http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lcy01/detail?.dir=b9ea&.dnm=a849.jpg I will put some more on that album of other outfits soon Nik
