Here's the update...she kept the original heels I posted but she has now purchased gold Louboutins to wear for the wedding instead!!! Here they are! Enjoy!

I like these a LOT better with the low hidden platform.

My suggestion: Tell her which ones YOU like. If its both then tell her so and why. It doesn't matter what we think because she doesn't know any of us.

I ordered from Bakers shoes a pair of black patent closed toe slingbacks named Melody. They arrived and for the wonderful price of $49 and they are really good looking. Thinking of using them for my next foreray to the movies.

Do you get to wear them out in the UAE? Interested in how thing like this play in other cultures and areas of the world.

My question is the same as CassieJ. Are women even able to wear these styles out in the street? I have seen some Arab women here in the US wearing traditional clothing with HOT shoes underneath.

I no longer feel "caught" when someone notices me paying attention to a lady's feet and shoes. It gives me great pleasure to see a woman who cares about her appearance and I don't mind acknowledging and letting her know I appreciate it. If she or anyone else has a problem with it, it is their problem, not mine.

Here are some kittens from my collection. The white ones are 1.5 inches and the red ones are 2.5 inches. I find they're both comfortable to wear but they are as noisy as a 6 inch spike.

jwhite, while I totally agree with you on the Payless situation, I have noticed in recent months that the larger sizes seem to be slowly creeping back in. Hopefully we will see them in greater abundence in the future.

I don't know about anyone else but I began responding to web site surveys, letting them know I am a man looking for women's styles in larger sizes. Also recently I have noticed that other males are contributing reviews on various selections. I think these individual efforts have contributed to a heightened awareness of the market for larger sizes on their part.

I think they are a style I would like but in the photos they are overcome by the dark hose and leather leggings. Who makes them?

First two pictures:

I got the first pair from Payless. Had to order them on-line. I had not try the shoes at the store. They did not have them in my size. When I pick up the pumps at the store, I try them on at the store. The seals girls liked pumps on me. The pumps fit true to size. The pumps are in size 12. They are called: Looker Ring Gladiator Sandal and have a 4.25 in heel.

Last two Pictures

The second pair is from Nine West. I found them at the Nine West Outlet store. These where the only pair in size 12. For the Memorial Weekend the Nine West store had a seal of an additional $10.00 off the original price. The final price was $14.99!

The shoes are called: Lissindao

I like them both, very flattering to the foot. Sorry the Payless ones cost more than the 9West.

Here is a video with the same pair of flats, to which I have added makeshift straps, which work quite well and don't look too bad I guess.

Why the straps? Were they slipping off your feet? At any rate they don't look makeshift.

I hear a lot of negatives about Khloe, especially pertaining to her weight, but she is the only one of the KK girls that appeals to me. I am happy for her that she found a guy who can make her feel small and kittenish like her sisters. A trip into her shoe closet would be like visiting heaven to me and I could fit her shoes. Maybe I could get her to send me her throwaways. *A guy can dream, can't he*
