  1. It's Friday!!!! For a short day at the office today (gotta run a lot of errands this afternoon) I chose a flat with textured hosiery today. The flats are black patent leather from J Crew. My DH loves to see me in heels, but these are his favorite flats!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Debbi, I'd love to see you in the flats without stockings or with sheer hose. I'm a huge fan of toe cleavage. What part of NC are you and DH in?
  2. Two points. 1. You'll find more larger sizes in urban areas than rural areas. 2. You'l find more larger sizes in stores serving a predominantly black neighborhood than a white neighborhood. Can't really say why, maybe black women have bigger feet. Not racist, just something I've observed in 40 years of looking for 12Wide.

Not to argue with you heels59 but my experience has been the exact opposite, with the exception of wide sizes. I will agree with you that black women seem to have wider feet though not necessarily longer.
  3. No, I know about system restore. The problem with such is it often leaves out certain registry info and then having to regedit all kinds of things.. Its just a mess and one of the reasons I left the MS platform. Others are in regards to whats stated by others :

There is a real difference between Recover and System Restore. Restore will wipe out a lot of things, Recover does not.

  4. The usual disclaimer : This story might offend some, make others laugh and have many believe I need to be institutionalized/lobotomized or just outright put out of my misery for the benefit of mankinds gene pool. Either way, if your easily offended, please just pass on by this story as its not for you.

Ive been meeting my wifes family now at ' family events '. We really didnt have a wedding ( Justice of the peace and a small party of maybe 20 people afterwards . Neither of us are for large events ). Im getting to know the faces and what they do for a living, who is whom and such.

The weather here has been shitty. Cold and snowy. Not much to do as of late. Cabin fever of sorts. I was working on new material but have come down with a rabid case of what some call ' writers block ' and I just cant seem to scribe or record whats in my head. Its not depressing, just aggravating!

So I show up to one of Darians families gatherings and meet her aunts, uncles, cousins..

Apparently, rumor had it that Im believed to be a pothead, a bisexual, a ' roadie ' for a band.. some oddball shit of somekind..

Well.. I didnt make such a bad first impression and kind of shocked many of them.

Cargo-type pants, a long backed white collared shirt ( the one that Kneehighs gave me the link to in another thread ) and a pair of flats.

I mingled and most were shocked that I dont drink at all. 10 days will mark 21 years sober.

I could tell they had those ' questions '. Ya know? The ' What are your skeletons in your closet ' type.

Were at the dinner table, about 13-15 of us. So her 17 year old nephew ( Damian.. what a fitting name ) was the first to actually have the stones to ask me something..

" Dude, like are you wearing womens clothes? "

His mother scolded him and I sort of interjected and stopped her. ' No guy, Im wearing my clothes. Im not one of those new aged gansta wanna be's whom has their pants around their knees making an ass of themselves. I bought these threads with money I earned when I was working. Im retired at a young age now and just do work for my family when they need me to. Its a great life. Im happy and I hope your Aunt is as well '.

The kids father then asked " So you do wear high heeled shoes then? ".

' Yep. I didnt wish to have a shock factor in meeting all of you so I chose to wear something less striking. Im no Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo. '

    " Who? "

The kids mother ( Jan/Janet )seemed impressed. " Sounds like you know your footware! "

' Hold that thought please '. I wiped my mouth, folded up my napkin that was in my lap ( sorry folks, I do have table manors! ) and went out to the car. Darian usually keeps her pumps she wears to work in there somewhere ( car is an absolute f-ing mess right now! ). Found her pumps, went back in, put them on. The whole downstairs of the house is tile flooring. click.. click click.. Back to the table, sat down, put my napkin in my my lap and started eating again.

So we casually started eating and conversing again..

Let me tell you, Darians grandmother looked like she shit herself. She was catatonic with her spoon stuffed in her mouth for all of 10-15 minutes. We started another conversation and her granny was just sitting there.. like the spoon was superglued to the top on her mouth.

I didnt want to be rude so I just acted like I didnt see anything.

Jan brought the subject up again stating " You seem to walk well in those shoes. ". She was no prude so.. ' Ya know.. its funny you mentioned that because sometimes.. I catch guys checking out my ass when I strut '

Darians grandmother spit out the spoon and her top plate with it, right onto her plate and into her food! I shit nobody on this! It was fucking priceless! I just burst out laughing!

Damian had his drink come out his nose from laughing!

    Jan lost it!

Darian put both hands over her mouth and her eyes became bigger then the plate she was eating off of!

Even her grandfather started to chuckle but TRIED to be.. caring to the needs of his wife? I dunno how to put it.

Needless to say, things went a bit smoother after dinner.

Well, The Grand dad heard I ' worked on houses ' and that I fixed the walls in her daughters house.. and was promptly paid with a few pairs of shoes ( thats where all the rumors and trash started. People didnt believe I accepted such as payment. ).

" What do ya fix in houses besides walls and plaster? "

I was a GC ( General Contractor and have done a bit in everything BUT I excel in the ' lost arts '. NOBODY does plaster work. Its all drywall/sheetrock now. SO I asked what he had in mind.

" I need a new floor in my upstairs bathroom. We had a new tub put in and the floor is god awful and in need of replacement. There is like 4 or 5 floors already in there.. ".

So I used a pry bar he had and took a look at it. Needless to say, thats been my ' hobby ' this past week. I called up an old employee and we made an arrangement for a grand for a week of his labour. I already had the tiles, epoxy grout and adhesives needed to do the job in a storage unit from a job I did years ago..

So, Darians Grandfather now has a whole new bathroom for a grand. We did the copper pipes/plumbing, bee's wax seals, PVC piping for the drain and gas release, changed the outlets to GFCI and snaked 10/3 to the main box in the cellar.

The money ( grand ) was for my guy/employee, I didnt take any for myself. Hes been out of work since I closed shop. It seems nobody wants to hire a 40+ yr old colored guy from a bad neighborhood. Darians Grandfather ' knows some people ' and were going to see what we can do.

What was shocking was after we finished the job, he and I had a talk.

The old timer is a Korea War Vet. He heard I did 4 years myself and wondered how a guy.. with my background.. could ever wear ' womens clothes '.

Well, after meeting me and seeing Im underweight he understood I couldnt find clothes that fit in the mens section. The heels part though.. that spooked him.

So I boiled it all down to ' if im 3/4ths of the way there, why not finish the job? '.

Needless to say, I think her family is enjoying having me around. Their property values are going to go up and their costs of repairs are going down drastically. I plan on doing the upstairs in his place. It has the ugliest F-ing green on the walls! They are real plaster and in need of a LOT of work! Cheap ass lamanent flooring.. WTF! The downstairs is all rock/tile and the upstairs is ' el cheapo ' ?!?!?

The Old timer and his wife gave me a ' pass ' and ( Im going to call this.. ) a form of acceptence. They understand I might smoke a joint once in a while, I dont drink, I dont run around on their grand daughter and that if they ever have a question to just ask and I wont bullshit them on an answer.

I guess im loosing touch with reality in that I really dont give a rats ass on whom sees me wearing whatever I have on. I should have just worn a pair of pumps over to begin with. :)

Pics from his bathroom while in progress..

Edit : Pics are out of order. they should be viewed as 1 , 2, 5, 4, 3

That was a great job on the bathroom. I'm sure you have a couple of new fans now. You're also opening eyes and minds of some straight-laced folks.
  5. I do wear a lot of Nine West shoes especially to work. They are, for the most part, very comfortable and not so overly expensive that I can't have a closet ful inclusing some trendy styles! Now, I have several pairs of "designer" shoes in my closet (Louboutin, Stuart Weitzman et. al.), but they are reserved for special occasions. But Nine West, BCBGirls, Bandolino, Giani Bini and Bakers make up the bulk of my shoe wardrobe.

After fighting a bad cold all week...I'm glad it's Friday! For today, I'm leaving the heels at home and wearing a pair of red flats from Bandolino with jeans (casual Friday...the only day I can get away with wearing jeans to work).

    Have a great weekend!

Ballet flats and jeans are my current heart-stoppers, especially red flats. Red heels are another story. I can spot red shoes a hundred yards away. They always get my attention!

Happy Friday! For an unusally busy day with lots of meetings, I had to forego "casual Friday" this week. Being on my feet all day required a comfortable shoe, but something that was dressy as well. So, I'm wearing t-strap pumps from Nine West. They are leather with suede trim and are really cute....and wonderfully comfy!

    Have a great weekend!

Those are some really "boss" boots!!

It would be really great to see these t-straps from a front angle. These are #3 on my top 10 list of sexy shoes.
  6. It's Friday and that means a more relaxed wardrobe! Today, I decided to mix it up a little and wear a pair of heels with my jeans. We're going out after work to meet some friends for dinner so I wanted to be casual but still dressy! There's just something about heels and jeans that always seems to capture my co-workers attention! ;-)

    Happy Friday!!

That combo definitely captures my attention. The heels appear to be from Classicpumps. Very nice!!

These were actually my boot cut jeans...my skinny jeans were at the dry cleaner!

    Thank you, Larry!

Thanks Bluejay! I love the classic "edginess" of pumps and jeans.

    Thanks a bunch!

My DH loves the toe cleavage, too! Thanks!

Today, I'm wearing a dress pump with a buckle across the toe. It's conservative and pretty standard office attire, but it still has a seductive quality about it! Thanks for all the nice comments....this has turned out to be a load of fun! (Thank god for my iPhone!)

A black pump in a classic silhouette always gets my attention and appreciation.

Today I'm wearing a pair of black kidskin slingback pumps with 3 inch heels from Giani Bini. These are the quintessential "office pumps"! I snapped a photo outside before I came into the office and then snapped another at my desk.

This style of shoe has stirred lust in me all my life, even before I knew what I was feeling. No matter what styles come and go this always gets my heart all aflutter.
  7. My first slr was a Minolta SRT100 and I've pretty much stuck with that family since the look and feel is pretty consistent throughout the line(s). What with mergers and all, Konica/Minolta is now Sony and the Alpha series has the same handling qualities as my SRT100. Lenses are compatible throughout and whether 4, 10, or 16MP, the picture quality is excellent.

  8. I have Win7/Win8 and Linux on the hd of my desktop, defaulting to Win7 on boot. I have no problem selecting the others. On my laptop, I default to Win8 with Win7 as secondary and Linux on a jump drive. No problems with the MBR on either.

This may sound very odd but.. Old School XP went on without a hitch and we donated the machine to a local charity ( City Mission ) for their use.

Win8 wouldnt install and we had to run the factory recover disks that came with the machine so it would even boot back up. After wiping the factory cd installs off of it, we put an older XP cd in and just let that install.

I had problems with my MacOS before. I did what was called a ' restore in place '. Basically, all my programs were still there. All I needed to do was make an alias ( shortcut ) and toss them back into the dock. I didnt see ANY kind of relative operation with windows. You have to reinstall everything all over again.. ARGH!

So your real problem was not knowing the Windows features. Windows has a "recover" option that repairs the OS while keeping apps and data. I had to use it recently when I caught the FBI Moneypak virus.
  9. When I fist got "into" purchasing shoes in person - it was at Bakers back in the mid 1970's They would have semi-anual clearance sales with shoes in the $2.99 to $5.99 range. My feet were at that time a large 10B to a small 11B. The styles were so much different then as they were just so simply beautiful. I had a thing for white strappy Mary-Jane styles. My all time favorite was a pair of white broad 2 1/2" heel with a 1/4" platform round-toe with a 1/2" wide instep stap pump. Those shoes were so comfortable and were well worn until I "out grew" them. By far, Bakers had the consistantly best looking shoes until the demise of the Qualicraft name.

I never knew what happened to the Qualicraft Brand Name - anyone know when and why?

I had just looked last week on their site for store locations and noted that all in my state were now missing. At one time I know there were at least 15 stores in the state.

There used to be Kinney's, Nobil's, Thomm McAnn, Chandler's, and several others that have lost their "sole" in the business world. Sad for so many involved as employees and customers.

I also came up in that era (the '70's) and my favorite stores were Bakers, Chandlers for a little more mature and upscale styles, and Wild Pair for fiendishly sexy/fetish styles. Time has moved on and no more $3-5-7 sales, except maybe Payless.
  10. I like the fit and feel of a pair of heels but I'm not interested in displaying them to the public. I will sometimes go out at night, on my property, wearing flats but my heel wearing is indoors and usually alone. My current girlfriend knows about my interest and doesn't have a problem with it.

  11. Thats awesome folks.

@wxman25 - I had to giggle too when I read the part about being drunk and telling your friend 2 years ago!

I've only told a handful of people - all those who either have no immediate connection to my missus or those who I trust enough to keep 'the secret'. It really pains me to have to keep it from my closest male friends, but their wives/girlfriends are very close to my missus and the chance of a 'slip' would be far too high... *sigh*

    Chris

So they probably already know. Women tell all to theri friends and friends tell their husbands.
  12. I've had high heel fetish for as long as I can remember. I love the sight of heels, the sound and the comfort of wearing them. As with any "like", I have heels I like and heels I hate. Anything less than 5 1/2 " or more than 9" are definitely not my thing. That also goes for the "stripper" type platform heels that are a readily available in any sex shop or online store, not my thing. I prefer "high end"designers or custom made heels and I spend a disporportionate amount of time looking for them.

I would describe myself as an altocalciphiliac, a person who sees high heels as erotic objects, a source of arousal if you will. I don't crossdress, I don't wear make up or anything that would be traditionally considered as womens attire. I don't aspire to wear heels publicly with or without fear or desire of humiliation or approval. I, at times, wear heels privately for pleasure. For lack of a lengthy better description, I'm the stereotypical "regular guy" in my dress and activities, with only this exception

I've always been involved in heterosexual relationships. I've had girlfriends, been married and divorced twice and I've told only one partner the entire scope of my fetish. But all of them knew that I liked them to wear heels. The woman I did tell wasn't exactly thrilled but made a vague attempt to support it, briefly.

I've made one friend on this site that seems to be "like me" and I value his friendship. We've shared some of our triumphs and disappointments and despite a 20 year age gap, we have alot in common in regards to this topic.

He asked me one day, " what are you looking for?". My answer was this.... "I want what most people want, love, respect, support, common interests... but I also want this aspect of my life to be part of the relationship. I want a woman, that shares my shoe fetish and even wants me to wear heels, not only because she knows it turns me on but also because it turns her on." I realize that the chances of finding a woman like this is about the same as finding a flying unicorn in my bathroom. But finding someone, male or female that at least understand me would be nice.

So here we are, If you've read this far, you know if you're "like me". And this is my request. If you feel that you are "like me", post a response. If you enjoy heels in a different way, please don't comment or make a post, there are plenty of other threads for your interests and topics. If you are "like me" (male or female) and prefer a bit more privacy, send me a private message.

Please excuse any typos, misspelling, or incorrect punctuation, I'm not an english teacher.

I really hope to get some responses.

    J

Luckyme, my relationship to shoes is pretty much the same as yours. I have no desire to wear them publicly but I do like to wear them in the company of my lady as prelude and companion to our sexual encounters. I also like it when she wears heels to her taste that I find attractive. The first 50 years of my life were spent denying, hiding or trying to rid myself of this fascination,,, with no success. Also I was unable, for the most part, to find a woman who was OK with knowing about my preferences. This all changed once I was able to accept myself as I am. I have met a lady who loves shoes (has more than 200 pairs) and has no problem at all making them a part of our lovemaking. We have even bought some matching pairs when the style was available in my size.

All this to say don't give up hope, your ideal mate is out there somewhere.
