BeachHeeler, let me say this. If I had opened up to some girls earlier in life I would have driven some away, but at the same time I would have drawn closer to the ones who didn't have a problem with me liking heels. Every coin has two sides.

Nice. Everybody should have at least one friend like her..

Good evening to all. Here we have a stunning pair that just arrived after a long wait! These are by far the most classic cut pumps in my collection featuring a perfect toe box, low cut vamp, high 4.5" stiletto and extremely feminine decorative bow! Maker and style: KG by Kurt Geiger, Dancer in satin champagne. Please comment and thank you for allowing me to share!
Perfectly feminine and dressy in the satin. I would love to see these on my lady. She would need to put them on well before time for us to leave.....

You probably looked better than the average Walmart shopper. You have to be pretty outrageous to get on POW.

I notice several men (myself included) are on their site doing reviews and surveys. This helps them adjust their marketing tactics to suit demand, so if you see a style you like and they don't have your size shoot them an email to let them know you would buy them if they had your size.

Once more Carolinee, welcome to you and your man. Whether he wears them or just appreciates them he will find common ground here also. Hope to hear more from both of you.

And the question is????????
-
-
Yes I have my preferences but I don't call it picky. There is nothing wrong with having preferences and fulfilling them.

I find your comment both offensive and utterly uncalled for.
However, to answer your question - everything about those shoes is hideous. The designs are clumsy and unsubtle, the heels are badly designed for walking and are aesthetically unattractive. The platform examples are chunky and ungainly, most of the straps and ties are for too wide and lack any sense of design proportion or style. The colour choices leave much to be desired as most of them clash dreadfully. None of them do anything to compliment or enhance the shape of the wearer's legs or feet - and in nearly all cases they merely stand out as design exercises in themselves - not as tasteful accessories to the main outfit being worn.
The overall impression given by this selection of heels is garish and tasteless. There is a complete lack of subtlety, elegance or grace in any of those designs.
I agree with PiB on this. Hope that doesn't offend anyone that I have a different opinion than they do. I much prefer classic styles of which I saw one in the article in #9, the Emilio Pucci blue ankle strap stilettos.
I am not criticizing anyone who likes the other styles but I reserve the right to say out loud that I think they are ugly.
Now, lets get back to having fun.

That "wife approves" is the MOST important part. BTW where did you get those red sandals? I want some too.
-
Oh My. They are simply to die for aren't they......! No wonder you fell in love with them....they are just goooorgeous....!
When I saw them I was imagining you in them PiB. Guess I'm learning your taste. Next step is to try to afford it.

I like your taste in shoes. You wear them well too.

Somebody will like it. Not me though.

secondreaper, are you still with us? We're all waiting to see your pics. You're good to go on the uploads.

My friendly local Payless seems to be carrying a larger selection in sizes 12 and 13 now. Recently while I was browsing I had the good pleasure of watching an attractive young lady trying on size 13's. Don't know why I'm so attracted to women with large feet but I am.

In my youth they triggered many fantasies of (I didn't know what at the time). I just knew I felt all tingly in my middle parts.

Not like her late mother-in-law who was an 11US.

These are the most attractive platform pumps I have ever seen! I am not a fan of platforms either.

I have to nominate Someone Else (other than PiB) - Miss Gwen Stefani. I was drooling and dripping over her pics in Louboutins for almost three years before I noticed the absence of chest and rump bumps which are also high on my list of attractants.
