  1. I live in left hand drive country, but I have driven cars in a few right hand countries. The position of the pedals is the same as in left hand countries. Luckily ! Otherwise it would have been very scary, driving and thinking about doing e v e r y t h i n g in reverse ! Driving on the "wrong side" is not as difficult as it seems. But you need some time to get used to it. Last year I was in the UK for my job, and had to rent a car. I was happy I made the first curves out of the parking garage without damage. But after one hour it's getting comfortable. After two days, it felt like I did it for years. I have never driven on the "wrong side" in heels however. But I would be great to try it.

  2. hi Mitchell, I can imagine your desire, even urge to wear heels. But how to get them ? Be creative ! In case money is a problem, you can try to find a job on saturday, like helping out in a supermarket, or car wash. Than you can save up the money to buy your 1st pair. I can tell you, it will be worthwile! Another tip: try to find shops with 2nd hand clothes. They will usually have some 2nd hand heels as well. Probably with very low prices. You can also look for 2nd hand markets (flea markets) or garage sales. Don't know what your size is, but I hope not too big. Maybe you know a woman or girl with the same size as you. It should be someone you trust of course. If she is wearing heels, try to get on the heels topic in a natural way. If the talk is going well, you may suggest that you are curious to know how it is to walk on heels. You may end up trying a pair of her heels....... Success ! Eric

  3. About high heels: our tastes can be very different. Boots, pumps, sandals, block heels, stiletto's etc. And so must be our personal stories how we came up to our shoe preferences. I am curious to hear if your shoe preferences have been the same all the time, or did it change since you discovered your passion. My story: I have had a passion for female shoes since I was a young boy way back when in the early 70’s. My first excitement were flip-flops and wooden sandals made by Scholl and Berkemann. I was envious on the girls wearing them. But I could only dream about it. In 1985 I was able to buy my first pair of wooden exercise sandals. It was the start of my female shoe collection. For many years, heels did not have a special attraction on me. It was 1998 when I came on the Internet. And found out that I was not the only one with a "weird" shoe passion. Discovered some dedicated sites, and chatted with like minded people. I found pictures of high heeled slides, and women wearing them. Slowly but steady I came to realize that heels were also hot! And I wanted to have them too! I got my first pair of heeled slides through Ebay. The heels were about 2”. Not that high, but I wanted to explore a new world so to say. Through a trade I got a pair of Candies with 4” heels. I was hooked…….. I always thought that I would stay with slides and thong sandals. But a few years ago I found myself looking at women in high heeled boots more and more. So the urge came up to try heeled boots myself. I did not surrender to this urge until fall last year. In a mailing of a department store I found a picture of a hot looking pair of boots. They were black knee high boots, with tapered 3”heels. So I decided to have a look. It was quiet in the shop, so I tried them on. And it felt great! I could not resist buying them. And I was hooked once again…. Going out in them for the first time was a sensational feeling! Does this mean that my passion for wooden slides has now become less ? No, that did not change at all. I fact my female shoe passion has become more wider. Would be nice to hear both similar and opposite experiences

  4. I have been driving in high heels for many years already. Lately in boots with with 8 cm. heels. But last summer I have been driving in Candies with 10 cm. heels. No problem at all. I feel very secure operating the pedals in heels (I drive a stick shift car). It's a great feeling !

  5. Slides 'n Heels: I really like those white slides. Then again slides/mules are probaly my fav. style.

    hi asdf174,

The big picture was included in the message from feb 19 that I quoted from

kiltsrgr8. But it may give the impression that these white slides are mine.

Anyway, the credits are for kiltsrgr8. The white slides in my avatar are mine however.

The heels are not that high, but maybe you like them too.

  6. Hey all ,

Some of you know (and share) my love for wood shoes , so of course I had to get these in white....

I am happily surprised to see the pic of your wooden slides, I love them !

And I'm also impressed by the ones in your avatar. For sure it must be a thrill wearing both pairs outside. Did you get the pair in tan already ?

Great that there are more woodfans like docs41 and me in this forum !

I wished I could wear my heeled Scholls at work............

  7. As my nickname already indicates, I love wearing slides. Although the desire to wear them outside is strong, I will only go out in them in the summer. The main reason is the weather of course. But it has something to do with reactions as well. I do care about reactions, although I have to admit it's an ambivalent attitude. On one hand, I don't want to attract any attention. I wear my slides because I love how they look and feel during walking. That's why most of the time, I wear my heels in places where I won't be recognized. I admire the guys who wear heels in public freely, but I'm still very reserved. On the other hand, it would be exciting to receive compliments from ladies who are into slides themselves. In practice, I have hardly ever heard any reactions. But I can remember one comment which was very funny: I was wearing heeled wooden exercise sandals to the beach when a girl of about 6 years noticed me. "Hey mom, that man is wearing girl shoes". But apparently her mother couldn't care less.......

  8. I like the first pair most of the 3 pairs. And kittens can be just as sexy as higher heels in the right circumstances

    '

No problem at all for me with kitten heels. The first pair are my favourites too.

  9. I'm one of the lucky ones too. I wear 10 US women's, 40-41 EU or 7-8UK, depending on the shoe. The differences in shoe sizes is unbelievable, sometimes a 10 seems small and in other instances it is too big. There isn't much consistency among manufacturers.

    Here's another lucky one ! My size is 9-10 US women's / 40-41 EU.

Just like Docs41 I'm into heeled slides, and I can confirm his comment

on the inconsistency of shoe sizes. Sometimes I found out that 42 was

hardly fitting. (Off topic: for Nike sneakers I even need 42.5 EU !).

Another aspect with women sizes is the width. Very often 40 would

be perfect in length, but too narrow. For the width I would need size 42.

Than I end up with 41 as a compromise......

  10. hi JaBe, I like your first post very much, and I don't see why it should be too long. I think a lot of people in this forum will be interested, because it reminds them of the first time out buying heels, and wearing them in public. That will always remain a very special memory for all of us who had the same experience. It could also be very helpful for those of us who would like to buy heels and try them on in the shop, but never had the courage. I hope your story will encourage them. best regards, Eric

  11. Well...... I'm going to be the odd man out on this thread. I enjoy wearing sandals, seems most of the posts here are for boots.

    SF

SF, you are not the only one......., there are at least two odd men on this thread ! I'm one into sandals too. Especially wooden slides and thong sandals. Too bad that the summer is very short here, I love to wear them outside in free time.

  12. hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, so let me introduce myself. My name is Eric, 39 years old and living in the Netherlands. I have a passion for female sandals since I was a young boy way back in the 70's. Where it comes from has always been a mystery....... I've been thinking to be the only one in the world being that weird until I got on the Internet. My favourite styles are wooden slides like Scholl's and Candies, and heeled and platform thong sandals. Love to see them on the feet of cute ladies, and I enjoy wearing them too. Some pairs I wear outdoors on nice summerdays. I'm lucky with euro size 41. More and more, I like other kind of heels too, so I may give them a try in the near future..... I have been reading a lot of messages yesterday, and I'm really surprised about the nice people and interesting contributions in this place ! I have to admit there's a sexual aspect in my passion......, but I prefer to deal with that in a decent way. It's a relief to find a group which is free of filthyness. This is a great place ! Eric
