Indeed. You cannot change a heel height without altering the pitch of the shoe. For example, you have a high heel and if you cut an inch off the heels they will kick under and they will bend as you walk. It's simple geometry. If you have a triangle (which is what the shape of a HH shoe is) and you shorten one of the sides then the opposite angle will be reduced unless you also shorten the other two sides. Now, if one side has to be at the same angle (the side that is the ground line) then the other side (the sole of the foot) is still the same length but will be longer when measured horizontally. Ergo, the top of the heelwill be further back than where it was but the bottom will be in the same place so therefore the heel will now be at an angle where it was perfectly perpendicular to the ground. Adding height to a heel will have the opposite and just as dangerous effect.

OK, this is very nearly a year old and I am glad to see that people do seem to be taking notice!
We had things like: "Do you wear heels to to the dentist.". Note the fullstop (or period) instead of a question mark. Now, "Do You Wear Heels To The Dentist" (no punctuation, title case) is perfectly correct as is "Do you wear heels to the dentist?" (question mark).
Just because we're online doesn't mean that we can't have standards. What is correct when delivering your dissertation should be just as correct here. As Megan says, punctuation is there to convey meaning. We use punctuation in much the same way as you'd use a smile or a nod of the head in a face to face conversation, you need it to convey a point. It tickles me that people go so far to program in BBCodes and smilies to "convey meaning" and yet they don't consider punctuation, grammar, syntax and spelling to be too important just because they're online! With accurate grammar, syntax and punctuation, you can convey meaning well enough without smilies.

Firstly, you need to be sure that the black is painted over the red or it isn't where the red has worn off exposing black underneath...

Just do nothing. Keep your feet clean and the hard skin will go on its own accord when it's ready. I don't do anything to my feet at all and they are probably the softest you will have ever seen. I gave this same advice to a friend who had been troubled in this way for years and now she too has nice healthy feet. The hard skin forms in response to an injury or infection to protect the foot from further damage. By filing it away or trying to soften it you are interfering with a natural healing process so therefore it will never heal.

They're a bit samey. I think I have about 4 pairs that have at least two of the design features.
