    Coo! Resurrecting an old thread here... I once heard a quote "Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together." Can't remember where I heard it though. I think I'll stay away from any uses of it that may result in skin / hair removal. That's why bondage tape was invented! :(

    Eventually, yes. My ex g/f had a pair of boots that she continued to wear after the plastic heel tips came off, and it wrecked the heels. The plastic surrounding the steel core wore away, and the leather began to peel where it was hitting the ground at the back of the heel and not being protected by the tip. She did manage to get them repaired, but it was at the expense of 1/2" as the bottom damaged section had to be removed. My mum always used to have metal tips fitted when she had her shoes re-heeled and she just used to go to the local shoe repair place, so hopefully they're fairly easy to find. The plastic tips on my boots are showing signs of wear, and I plan to have metal tips fitted when they need replacing.

What's your favourite shoe style: Boots and courts. I really want a pair of black suede stiletto knee boots, but have yet to find them. Do you wear your heels outside: Have done once. What is: (a) Your favourite heel height: I most often wear 4" as that's what my favourite boots have, but I prefer 5". (:( Your highest heel height: The 5.5" courts in my avatar are my highest non-platform heels. I also have three pairs of plats with 6" heels. How often do you wear: (a) Your favourite heel height: As often as possible, but sadly only when my wife is out. (:( Your highest heel height: Whenever I can pry off my thigh boots! Do you wear socks, hose, stockings or bare feet with your shoes: Tights mainly, stockings less often, bare feet occasionally. Anything else you wish to add: I was very happy to find this site. I used to be a regular on ASFF until it closed, but they would sometimes go off into realms I didn't like. Here is much nicer!
